Nissan Micra

That sounds like the opposite of my VW Caddy Maxi. Isn’t it nice there are so many different options to suit all of us different people?

Cars must have names! I’ve named all of my cars from the same book series since I was 16. Currently driving an i30n named Kaelas. Boyo’s fam just names them after their rego plates.

My old car was Huey, based on the numberplate UEE.
New van can probably be Todd, as the mnemonic I’m using to remember the new numberplate is whisky + tea, which is a hot toddy.
Traditionally cars are supposed to have female names for some reason (or at least that was what I was told growing up) but with equality and all I think boy names should be fine.

Maybe it’s something to do with boats having female names? I love the idea of using the number plate as inspo

OH likes historical names, so we’ve had Isolde and Brunhilda, and the most recent one is Endora because I like Samantha’s mum from bewitched

I want MissGod in the driver’s seat asap and it’s gonna be in a couple months but, I’m reticent to let her drive mine. I guess I just gotta let go at some point.

This is the situation: I have a manual Corolla which she likes but can’t drive. He has a auto Camry which she practices in but hates. So I was willing to sacrifice my car so she could have one.
But…
The man doesn’t want to give mine up because it has only done 120k’s and it’s a good car in good condition. What he wants to do is run his into the ground then take mine. I’m like “ok” because I really don’t care as long as I can go about my business occasionally and the kid gets a car to drive me to the pub when she gets her licence.

Apart from car makes…this is exactly my situation.
My Camry (fucking rocks) is solid as. Wife drives manual and kids ain’t keen to learn.
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 week ago
Camry does rock. Not so great for petite women.
useless_modern_god@aussie.zone 1 week ago
Sounds like a good plan.
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 week ago
At the end of the day you gotta let go so your kids can experience life.
