Drive to the op shop to familliarise yourself with the car some more? Do you have it have it already?

I had mentally allowed myself two days for looking at cars. As it only took a couple of hours I now have a lot of unexpectedly open time to fill. I might do an op shop run and try to finish off my couch.
Does anyone else write off stupidly large amounts of time to do things that are not actually that time consuming? I seem to do it all the time, which often means I put off things because I ādonāt have enough timeā and then when I do get them done end up with lots of extra free time.

Itās coming on Thursday. It will actually make it a lot easier to do op shop drop offs now, tons of room and much easier access! But Iāve got a few boxes of things Iām tripping over that Iād just like out of the way so Iāll do it today anyway.
First visit with the new car is going to be the auto electrician to organise a reversing camera - it has sensors, but the visibility at the back is not great and Iād much prefer to add a camera in. Fingers crossed they can install without replacing the head unit, but it depends on which specific unit was installed in the car and they wonāt know until they can look at it. I am a bit nervous about manouvering in it, after 19 years in the one car the change is going to be hard.

I love my reversing camera and Fresnel lens in my van. Visibility max. The rear windows look nice and tinted already which is nice.

The windows at the back are so darkly tinted it does restrict the visibility in the rear vision mirror a bit. It has nice big side mirrors though, itās just going to take a bit of getting used to knowing where to look.
I donāt have a reversing camera or sensors in my current car, but I absolutely love them. I used my sisterās new car for an activity where I had to park in some very tight parking spots in the middle of the night and it made it so easy. The Caddy has the sensors already and it doesnāt sound too complicated for them to add the camera into the current system - the one I was origionally going to look at already had one added, which was a big part of the reason it was first on the list to look at.

Iāve never thought about it.

Iām the opposite. I put things off, especially unpleasant tasks, but severely overestimate what I can get done in a timeframe. (I donāt really believe it, I just like to convince myself I will do it later to feel less guilty about procrastinating). Then mad panic ensues. I need to find a way of doing unpleasant tasks.

I only tend to do that for uni assignments - sure I can write up 5000 words after work on the day itās due!!
I pick up the car on Thursday. Iām going to add clearing out the small shed I have at the end of the carport and putting it onto Marketplace, Iāll have an extra 13cm of car to fit in and need that space back so the new vehicle doesnāt have her butt hanging out š¤£
