No. Demand a cut of the ad revenue as they are using your property as a billboard.
Comment on Ads are a plague
Zagorath@aussie.zone 5 days agoI’d take it back and demand a full refund. This is a dangerous, irresponsible product that does not fulfil the purpose it was marketed for.

But I don’t want the ad revenue. I want my car not to advertise to me.

True. I don’t either. I want the bullshit to stop.

How do you prove any of those points for a return? Presumably they don’t show anything while in motion and it does drive so how does it not fulfill its purpose?
Instead, you can return it in 6 months when the engine is blown because it’s a piece of Stellantis garbage.

Merely driving from a to b is not the only purpose. They’ve sold it as being able to safely navigate, control your media, etc. If they were upfront and said “you cannot safely update your navigation or play/pause media while at lights, because we show ads”, they’d be in the clear. But by the accounts I’ve heard, it seems they didn’t tell people ahead of time what they were buying.

Safety isn’t a thing that only happens when in motion. Checking your surroundings when stopped so you know when to go is important.
But he’ll, I think video billboards should be banned too.
