The n-word was applied to Indians and anyone dark enough by the British. Americans made it solely an African thing but if you read Victorian era British authors they’ll use against anyone brown. its only an issue here because theres a reason for it to be, people 100% say it with the intention to aggravate ppl or act like they are above them because of their history, I never really thought about how other countries see it lol
