  There can be local differences in the dress code as long as it’s considered modest in the local culture (عُرْف, ie. convention or norm) and it does not show what has to be covered as part of a woman’s عَوْرَة (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intimate_parts_in_Islam).

  So in some areas it is socially acceptable to have colours while in others the norm is all black.

  I imagine they use WhatsApp, in which case it allows sharing their screen so you could at least see what is going on. I don’t know of it can share control however.

  It might be an issue-ish with cards that require a signature, since only you are supposed to know the signature and someone else reproducing it is legally comparable to counterfeiting a document.

  For cards with a PIN no body cares.
