Let’s both hope it never happens then. I’d rather be your friend than adversary.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 days ago:
You remind me of a Russian propagandist right before one of their invasions of Ukraine.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 days ago:
Right. Reactionary. That must be why china is requiring that all civilian ferries are capable of RORO of tank sized vehicles and why they’re building massive landing barges capable of handling landing on Taiwan’s rocky coasts.
Taiwan has every right to be concerned with an invasion because it’s what china keeps saying.
So, no, you don’t get to wave your propaganda wand and make a very real issue go away.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
I am familiar with the history of the ROC, but let’s be real - Taiwan has existed as an independent nation for a long time now and those land claims are bogus.
Those military drills are also literally in Taiwan to help prepare for a chinese invasion of their land. What a weird thing to compare to what China is doing.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
Would it be an escalation if the held war games directly on the chinese coast while making demands they submit their country to the US?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
What are you even talking about now? This is just nonsense.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
Stay on topic - China is literally surrounding Taiwan with multiple military exercises, making threatening comments, intentionally ramming ships with their ‘coast guard’ in other another country’s territory, making imperialistic claims to territory that doesn’t belong to them in the south china sea; they are an imperialistic aggressor and these actions should be called out just like the inexcusable US actions should be called out. Neither is acceptable and I absolutely call out the US too. I’m not even anti-communist; I’m anti-imperialist and authoritarian. Something that unfortunately you tankies put together in one package and are unwilling to critically think about.
Btw, China has absolutely engaged in military action in the past 50 years and you need to educate yourself.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
If you think these two things are even remotely the same, you’re not thinking critically at all.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
If you can’t understand how the numerous Chinese military exercises like this are a specific threat to Taiwan, then I’m not sure you’re capable of reason Image
Please provide similar evidence of threats to Chinese territory (besides the soviet union stealing their land).
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
Didn’t realize you had a monopoly on intelligence 😁
Got any other blanket statements about “the west”? Should people start making the same comments about your people?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
Would it be appropriate for US ships to ram Chinese ships in Chinese waters?
There are no threats to Chinese territorial waters; this is happening in Philippine territory.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
Just pathetic. Seek help with your xenophobic nonsense.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
Why is china ramming Philippine boats in waters that aren’t their territory?
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
Are you saying that removing tariffs from trade with one region means you cannot otherwise be imperialist? That’s completely illogical.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
What an absurd statement. “They don’t teach critical thinking in any part of the western world”. Are you insane?
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
I mean, they literally are planning for an invasion. Whether they will is up for debate, but they’re definitely designing their naval fleet for it and performing exercises simulationing an invasion.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
Who said anything about being the same? Israel is the worst offender in the world.
China is planning for an invasion of Taiwan, so they’re certainly putting together a backup plan in case Taiwan doesn’t agree to become part of China. Doesn’t seem like they’d need that sort of thing if they were being truly peaceful.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
The fact you think china is pursuing peaceful unification kind of outs you. They are not giving Taiwan a choice; comply or face death.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
What a shallow thought process you have.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 days ago:
China: Doesn’t even consider Taiwan’s right exist and is forcing their unification with aggressive military incursions in their territory.
Tankie like you: ALL WEST BAD, ONLY CHINA GOOD AND EVERY VALID CRITICISM IS WESTERN PROPAGANDA.
Okay, buddy.

I don’t enjoy the souls games or elder ring, but will never forget the lonely and liminal feelings of the kings field games. They were the stand out titles of the playstation, if you ask me.

The likelyhood of implementing market regulations is plausible vs implementing full communism, which will never happen.
We can make progressive steps towards fixing our system and I don’t want to give up.

The key word is unregulated. Why does it have to be unregulated?
