Unless Twitter themselves don’t show the site in the U.K., the block will be very weak just an IP Block by ISPs? It could be more effective to just order Twitter to block Grok entirely in the UK. At the least do that immediately then go ahead with full on block. Considering that they have been very slow for illegal content shows there is external pressure on the U.K. Government.

- Comment on Intel’s Move Toward Nationalization Won’t Work—at Least for the Long Haul 5 months ago:
Maybe, but are there any ARM chips and motherboards you can buy freely (at least for consumers)? No its all embedded, all soldered on, no upgrade path. This is why I hate Apple Silicon you have to buy their trash everything else.
- Comment on Intel’s Move Toward Nationalization Won’t Work—at Least for the Long Haul 5 months ago:
Tldr government could mismanage and misallocate as if private capital hasn’t done enough damage to Intel.
Also fuck the markets. There are no “free” markets with chips, x86 is a duopoly. Chip making in general is an oligopoly.

Many sites also waive it for seeding torrents 24/7.
And with HD torrents it’s like once every 30 days

Even if you seed they’ll email you after some time asking you to login to the site. Really stupid.

The real budget will end up being a fraction of what’s needed and most of that’ll end up in capitalist pockets.

UK sounds desperate for any revenue to show a lower deficit %. It can’t increase revenues by raising taxes so it does silly shit like this.

- Comment on UK economy in recession as households cut spending 1 year ago:
Although times are still tough for many families, we must stick to the plan – cutting taxes on work and business to build a stronger economy.
Tax cuts for the rich and businesses never works if there is no demand. Tax cuts for the poor while better isn’t going to make much of a difference because the issue is not taxes it’s low wages and unemployment/underemployment.
Where is the increased welfare spending?
