- Comment on If Trump wins the election thru fraud how can the democrats refute it and prove they won? Or will it just be like another Jan 6 and four years of whining like Trump? 1 month ago:
See I wouldn’t be to sure. There’s plenty of left leaning people who would fight to help restore the US. In the armed forces and by in large they have higher positions. Not necessarily higher as in commander positions but just non grunt ones. At least from what I hear from the friends and family I have in the various branches of the armed forces.

It’s funny that most people are gonna assume you voted for a particular candidate AND the people who voted for that candidate are gonna assume this post is talking about them and get mad about it lul. It’s sorta telling.
Tap for spoiler
And the same goes for this comment too.

- Comment on Did the concept of 9-5 included a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks? 2 months ago:
Depends on the state, in my state you legally have to get paid for 30 minute lunches but not hour long lunches. No idea why but because of this most office jobs will give you an hour lunch in addition to your mandated 2, 10 minute breaks.
Honestly I would love to just take a 30 minute break and get out earlier. It’s not even about the money.

- Comment on What's the term for someone that likes Jesus of Nazareth, but doesn't identify with church, religious dogma, or whatever? 2 months ago:
I’m agnostic. I believe there may or may not be a god (regardless of religion) and that we may or may not find proof once we die but while I’m alive I’m just gonna live the best life I can with my own values. If Jesus was alive today I believe we would be homies, dude seemed chill.

Oh he for sure has tons of mental issues and illnesses and so does a portion of his community. The thing is, he’s been a major streamer for fucking ever, at this point it’s sort of his fault he’s like that. He’s had loved ones and family try to help over the years but he just has the money to tell them to fuck off. Usually it’s hitting rock bottom that gets people to change but it’s very hard to do that when you have tons of money and don’t do drugs.

For anyone who isn’t aware you can also block channels, click the three dots on the thumbnail and hit the ‘don’t show channel’ button. I tend to block channels that even talk about him cause I’m just not interested in dramatubers either.

Last time I checked 25 bucks is cost of living but it’s been a couple years. I wouldn’t be surprised if it should be higher now.

I agree on quantamania, it’s a fun turn your brain off movie. Introduces some cool concepts to the universe and has some interesting visuals. Marvel movies aren’t meant to be your forest gumps, people seem to forget that sometimes.

Yea 4chan is worse than it used to. I browse the X board which is just supernatural stuff. No kidding, 5 percent is the stuff I browse for which most people would be interested in, ghosts, cryotids, aliens, scary stories the usual stuff but X is overrun by semen retention, succubus, manifestation, literal religious nut jobs, actually literal insane conspiracies, the nobody (sounds interesting but it’s actually just delusional people), divination and spirituality and any and all combinations of all these topics sprinkled with casual racism and xenophobia.
I’m not even nitpicking these are common and I just pulled up the app and saw all of the there.
I unserstand how some of these could fall under paranormal but the board is just overrun by insane posts and nobody sane could remotely believe them.

For sure. I met my now fiancee on a dating app, neither of us are into hookup culture. She’s demisexual so it’s actually the opposite for her and I’m just not interested in it. These guys are really huffing the 4chan sauce hard.

I can almmost guarantee this is what it is. One of those isn’t even a big deal. If I was single I wouldn’t date a single mom, not because there’s anything wrong with them but because I’m looking for a serious relationship, and I know I’m not emotionally ready to be a father and I know I never will be.
I don’t want kids for that reason. I was raised by a single mom and have seen how difficult it is. Nothing but respect for all of them out there.

Sorry to break it to you but it factually IS about originality. That’s one of the categories the judges for this sport specifically rate on according to the olympics, or should at least, it’s obvious they didn’t in this instance.
Here’s some sites that specify originality is one of their 5 scoring categories.
- Comment on I am really trying here, ok? 3 months ago:
And your comment is why I lost respect for those judges who probably agree with you.
You’re letting her previous performances color your opinion of what should be a fair and unbiased judging of this one performance and this one category in a vacuum. It’s originality, she was more original in her performance than a lot of other breakers, regardless of her skill (which is a separate category they rate on). I would have hoped she would have scored at least a couple of points there and just 0s on all the other categories.
I agree with your BM comment though.

I agree that notoriety shouldn’t necessarily be considered the same as accomplishment but here we are lul. I’m willing to bet she’s inadvertently pushed breakdancing people to greater hights inspite of/to spite her lul. Yea Phil is great.
Reminds me of poreotix in ABDC. Except they were good lul.
What’s your take on the judges not awarding points for originality? I’m not saying her moves were good but they were definitely original. Some of her moves nobody else did at the Olympics at all. I would have guessed she should at least get a couple of points for that, it honestly made me lose respect for those judges.
- Comment on I am really trying here, ok? 3 months ago:
I had a whole argument with a bud about her PhD in breakdancing.
My take was that she pushed breakdancing into the human consciousness significantly more than anyone in history ever has so she deserves that PhD, very few people know the name of the person who won the gold but a ton more remember raygun or at the very least ‘that breakdancing lady’. Regardless of how skillfull she actually is. Also, iirc she was actually a classical dance teacher at that school and this was just in response to the Olympics adding breakdancing, I watched an interview where she said something along the lines of ‘I didn’t even care for breakdancing’.
