Completely agree, it just grabbed my attention since Copperfield had a close relationship with Epstein.

Copperfield and Schiffer in the bottom-left were 38 and 24 when they began dating as well. Not as bad but the vibes keep on similaring.

- Comment on Is there a name for the vocal technique used for characters like Sméagol? 2 months ago:
I’m not sure – when I hear “vocal fry” I think of that open-throated low engagement of the vocal cords that makes a deeper sounding rapid popping noise. Were you referring to the same?

- Comment on China Is Putting Data Centers in the Ocean to Keep Them Cool 5 months ago:
I get it, truly, but we’ve been dejecting heat to the ocean for a good while. Ocean water cools marine engines and equipment, and heck we use rivers to cool lots of things – even reactors, which ends up back in the ocean. Data center cooling might be one of the more responsible uses because it’s (hopefully) not leeching petroleum or radioactive byproducts into the water.
I’m actually a little more upset now than when I started this comment.

Thanks for the reply! PEBKAC issue – I was logged in with the right account, but the email I requested to join the beta from was not a google account so I had to make one for this. I forgot to change the email in my Walkscape account portal to the gmail I made. All good now!

I was accepted into the beta, but I’m unable to find the app in the store. I joined the google group, but I’m not sure what else to check. When I follow the link it shows the app in the browser, but when I try to find it with the play store app it can’t be found. Any ideas?
- Comment on This ad that claims that windows 11 is 3 times faster than windows 10 8 months ago:
Windows 11 PCs are up to 2.3x faster than Windows 10 PCs Based on testing performed by Microsoft in December 2024 using Geekbench 6 Multi-core score comparing a selection of Windows 10 PCs with Intel Core 6th, 8th, and 10th generation processors and Windows 11 PCs with Intel Core 12th and 13th generation processors. Performance will vary significantly by device and with settings, usage and other factors.
I mean… okay? Pretty sure that has very little to do with the OS at that point. That’s kind of like saying the PS5 is faster than the PS4 – yeah, I’m upgrading hardware, of course it’s faster. Kinda surprised they only got 2.3x with that basis of comparison.

That’s not really a solution though, right? It’s more like a minimal survival mechanism restricted to those privileged with financial literacy and good discipline/planning in a system where people are (paradoxically) forced to trade their health for livelihood. Many, many people will fall short of such a bar through no fault of their own.
