Is it?
- Comment on A post about a dead game 3 weeks ago:
Nobody AFAIK. I would like to start something tough. Doesn’t need to share name or resources, just the feeling, the space theme, the PvP and specially coop pve approach…

Never found anything like that. What an idiot Dev.

Any names of rogue/-lites? I need them on Android as its the only platform I can reliably play today…
As for board games, we are into those too, or at least we where. But the love for ultra complicated board games by my wife took us to a blind spot where we are always too tired to start a game LOL…
I till love and we still play Ticket To Ride occasionally tough.

I also made at least one good friend on that game. We keep in touch years later.
Was amusing the idea to try recreate the original game as open source, with due differences like a true rich tech tree and less grind (no need to monetize an open source game after all), and most of all, self hostable server.
But RL is a bitch and free time is hard to come by these days, so.
Yeah the game was pretty addictive and I took the DN fiasco as a good reason to finally quit. I got to RS10. But seeing how rs10 was so much less fun in red stars was also a turn down as well.
I had friends playing rs10 regularly tough, so those where doable and kinda fun too it seems.
Rs9 where real fun tough… Specially done in private corps with three more able and willing partners.
White stars too, I really enjoyed them, maybe I was in a lucky corporation.

That feels… A bit exaggerated. You have any sources?
- Comment on Does anyone else feel like fireworks are a complete waste of money and a ridiculous amount of unnecessary Pollution? 6 months ago:
It’s still a form of art, specially the “big” ones. The hand-handled one are totally useless and can disappear from the world for what I care.
In general, they are dangerous and should be banned overall. But won’t happen any time soon.

Personally I hate them and I think they are more harm than good.
Let’s do some clarification: I can appreciate the high in the sky fireworks, while I simply hate those you fire by hand in between the legs of other bystanders.
Overall I think they are dangerous and should not be freely sold, while keep doing the big ones in the sky.
But, honestly, a form of art that harms so many people and animals maybe should be banned after all.
- Comment on Tethered Bottle Caps 6 months ago:
I honestly like them. Those that “stay open”, of course… They just stay out of the way, never get lost, and works pretty nice.
At first I disliked them, but quickly found out they are actually… Very practical. Even not considering the “green” twist, why didn’t we adopted them before?
- Comment on What do you do with Nazi memorabilia? 7 months ago:
Keep it like it is, and make a point to explain to anybody what your views are. I understand you not wanting to be considered a Nazi, but it is still ab almost 100 years old piece of history and I think it would be a pity to trash it.
Never forget history, means also keep “historic memorabilia”. There is nothing bad in keeping a piece of history, good or bad, it’s all our history and we should always be wary of trying to " trash it ".
- Comment on The problem with GIMP 7 months ago:
Gimp issue is not the name, it’s the outdated UI and the dumb usage decisions like saving only in it’s format. I moved to krita some years ago and I think that’s the future. Gimp will still be along for a long time, and it should as its a great piece of software. Bit that’s it.
Alternatives are good, and having krita and gimp is good.
Gimp name? Never even occurred to me that could be offensive. Not American here. Americans, get out of your asses (joking)… You are often offensive to the world but you don’t care (not so much joking, and ofc I am wrong in generalization), so why should the others?
- Comment on The Paradox of Blackmarket Wired Bluetooth Apple headphones. 7 months ago:
Everybody bashing this guy.
First of all, he is an Apple user… What do you expect?
Bet he was happy to pay cheaper price and disappointed to be… Tricked into buying something of the same value he was paying for?
Hard to stay serious on apple brainwashed guys.
At the same time, interesting to learn how even the most idiotic restrictions are always bypassed one way or the other. This fills me with hope for the future.
- Comment on I have unlimited cellular data on my phone but not if I use it as a hotspot. 10 months ago:
At home i have a FWA over 5G (mobile) with 1Tb/month of traffic cap. That can be raised by 200Gb if needed. Cost 24€/month.
On mobile I have 150Gb capped 3G/4G/5G (whatever works) for 7.99€/month.
Not bad deals in comparison with what I read here.
- Comment on Do bike tires increase pressure in summerm 10 months ago:
Atmosferic pressure doesn’t change as much as air density with temperature, because its not a closed system.
Actually easier to ride faster in summertime due to less dense air in which the cycler will have to move trough…

- Comment on why isn't the use of the bidet more widespread? 1 year ago:
Well you can bidet before tp indeed… But nah, first clean with a bit of tp, then wash. Then dry (or don’t, I love that little feeling fresh down under, provided you don’t powerwash typhoon style ofc)
- Comment on why isn't the use of the bidet more widespread? 1 year ago:
Let’s be clear: bidet comes AFTER toilet paper. Not “instead of”. That’s the modern intended use. So get your stuff together and buy one now! How can you love without?

Modern fascism i would say. As some europeans might remember different (but not substantially different) fascisms.
Its just the old gaming of the system, we replaced dukes and barons with corporations. And thats much worse.

American indoctrination. Dont you see? You need to vide from corporation power, not government. Thats just biased on pur pose.

- Comment on Almost all remote-work news is negative now but was positive in the beginning of the pandemic. Have you noticed this or am I going crazy? 1 year ago:
I prefer work from office. Its better for me having kids & dogs and tons of duties at home. Work from home more than once a week is just a waste of time for me which translates to double workload or sorse when at the office.
Said that, i love WFH because i get things (real things, life things, not work things) done properly and timely… But just doping more than 1 day per week is twice as stressful for me than not.
My commute is 35km each way, so not even a short one.

You bake a cake and you roast meat or potatoes. I think its what you cook.
In my owen i cook both with the same heat mode, not from “top” or “bottom”.
