I would rather a rushed ending than to be left hanging (unless they’re going to do a movie or something)
Maybe the last few years are better, but through the late 2010s Netflix very much looked at the per episode drop off rate for viewers and used that to determine if a show would continue to pull in viewers and get renewed. They were quite aggressive and then when other streaming services started coming into play they aggressively tried cutting costs off dead shows and burned a lot of people.

If I wanted to fire an employee, I’d it legal to move their location of work somewhere they don’t live for no reason at all?
If not why is this legal?

I use a Mac and I’ve seen plenty, apart from us being forgotten and the release date pushed back silently twice. For me any dirt ground textures never render.
Larian does a much better job than any other studio, but I paid for the game to play in August at release with my friends, but then they sole fly dropped the release date and the only viable solution to playing was to pay for GeForce now and stream it.

I wouldn’t say no to one.
It could be about the life of a Ferengi crew, that through all adversity start ended focused on their goals of acquisition.

Star Trek: Infinite is built upon the core systems of Stellaris, leveraging the deep and complex system and making them its own. Aspects of these systems have been streamlined and simplified to better resonate with the Star Trek franchise.
Is this a mod then? I’m confused what this means
- Comment on Star Trek: Infinite Launches October 12, Game Trailer and Preorder Details Announced 1 year ago:
STOCKHOLM – September 7, 2023 – Paradox Interactive and Nimble Giant Entertainment today announced that their upcoming grand strategy game Star Trek: Infinite, under license from Paramount Consumer Products, will launch on Mac and PC on October 12, 2023. Players can now pre-order either the base game or Digital Deluxe Edition, granting them access to bonuses like skins, ships, and special voiceover. Star Trek: Infinite takes players on an interstellar saga with its emergent gameplay and complex choices, as they face the powers of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
Players who pre-order Star Trek: Infinite will receive the following bonuses: – Star Trek: Lower Decks uniform options – The U.S.S. Cerritos, a science ship with special options for minor nations (Second Contact) – A Klingon advisor voice line, “Qapla”
The Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE) of the game includes a digital artbook, the game soundtrack, and an in-game music pack featuring iconic compositions from across Star Trek’s illustrious legacy.
Beginning decades before the Star Trek: The Next Generation era, Star Trek: Infinite grants players the power to shape the galaxy’s destiny as a faction of their choice. The immersive grand strategy game puts players in the captain’s chair to lead one of four unique Quadrant Powers: The United Federation of Planets, Romulan Star Empire, Cardassian Union, or Klingon Empire. While remaining faithful to Star Trek lore, Star Trek: Infinite introduces fresh avenues for adventure as players can explore the Alpha and Beta quadrants, govern empire dynamics, handle economic intricacies, and engage with undiscovered civilizations.
You can tell it’s the 2020s because they talk about the preorder DLC before telling you what the game is about.
That being said, it sounds interesting, I love 4x and economic submission games, and Trek of course.

Yeah, with Trek technology war would be pretty terrible and boring and come down to energy production.
In DS9 the Cardassians build automated weapon platforms and the Federation builds self replicating mines. At that point I find it hard to imagine that war wouldn’t just become a matter of industrial replicators churning out autonomous weapons and defensive systems as fast as possible. Your only need a few control ships in an area with subspace communication to manage massive fleets.
It also seems like Federation tech is pretty near the end game since they’re competitive in all the quadrants (I haven’t finished Voyager though, I can’t remember how they fare against Borg tech), so overwhelming enemies in quantity and energy reserves would be an acceptable strategy.
