Ok, that sound more like your phone is kinda iffy. I don’t mean to piss you off by saying this, but have you tried a factory reset?

I can’t really complain… then again I probably disabled most of the features you’re talking about
- Comment on The half-assed implementations of battery charge limits... 3 weeks ago:
Definitely the latter

Yes.

OP is incorrect — macOS 26.4 didn’t set the charge limit to 80%, it didn’t set it to anything, it gave you the option to limit charge to 80, 85, 90, or 95% charge, or disable it if you’ve enabled it
You’re right, I guess I still think calling something a feature implies that you can turn it off.

I’ve never really been a Mac user primarily so I just adopted the best practices from Windows and Linux. If macOS is supper efficient that way then cool.
I still wouldn’t leave it on 24/7.

That’s just what I do. I don’t think many people just leave their computer running 24/7.

They’re actively raising fuel prices (by driving up demand), destroying roads, fucking up the environment and cause 61 traffic fatalities a year on average (according to the IIHS). What’s not to love

Don’t buy consumer laptops, especially not ones that are as cheap is that. Buy used business laptops; Dell Latitude, Lenovo Thinkpad, even used HP EliteBooks are better are better value than most stuff you get under 1000€ new

My entire family lives thousands of miles away and Facebook is all I have to feel connected with them.
That’s kinda the entire reason I use Facebook nowadays, too… and WhatsApp because everyone in my family is too lazy to switch to Signal

Yeah, ever since Nike bought the lot they’ve been a bit mad with the designs…

I always had Chucks, not because I didn’t wanna get teased mind you I just thought they were cool.
But man, they never really lasted that long. One to one and a half years of daily use, and they doubled in price in the last ~15 years (which maybe isn’t that much but I feel the quality went down a bit).

With a Spigen Tough Armor case, right? Had one on my 6 Pro, too.
When you consider the 9 Pro’s screen to body ratio it’s pretty compact, especially for a flagship. Ten years ago a phone of its size would have maybe had a 5" screen.
