Most of those rear-projection TV were 60 Hz, with the high-end ones often having 120 Hz.

Eh. Just looks like any other oversized SUV to me. I miss when cars had distinct designs…

Well, FedEx doesn’t even really exist over here so eh

Can I just say how shitty UPS is with pick ups? Every time I have to RMA something through Dell’s support they would schedule a delivery of the replacement part and a pick up of the defective one through UPS, right? Not once did UPS actually show up to pick up the parts.
Even when I manually schedule a pick up with them they just don’t show up; they sent an confirmation email saying that they did, but the part is still where I placed it for pick up. And when I email UPS to tell them they just repeat what the confirmation email said.

That’s the only complaint I have as well, the cords tend to rub a lot on any jackets I wear. It’s not really a big deal, though.

I splurged for a pair of SR325x recently and they’re awesome; just a great, balanced sound. Pretty easy to drive, too, even with my old iPod mini.

It’s actually quite easy on the Sonys, I was more than surprised.

I bought some Sony WF-1000XM3 a couple of years ago. They were new, although heavily discounted, but the battery life was awful; it the box it says that the buds themselves would last for 6 hours on a single charge, right? I got maybe 1.5 hours out of them.
Sony wouldn’t RMA them because I supposedly bought them at their outlet store (I didn’t). Eventually, I just replaced the batteries in both buds and now they last ~3 hours; I guess that’s due to the battery in the charging case also being weak.
Next time I’ll just buy one of those Fiio bluetooth DACs to use with my Grado’s…

Movies like to just put “The” before the title to signify the definiteness of that particular reboot. Too bad they often end up getting sequels…

It might just be down to nostalgia, especially when it comes to the early 2000s Windows XP style aesthetic. Just think about all the Vaporwave stuff (although that seems to be mostly late-90s-ish).

better protection against falls
Do they really? I don’t know how most phones do it but on my Pixel 6 Pro the entire front is pretty much covered with glass so it doesn’t really matter if the OLED has a rounded bezel in front of it or not.
It might protect the actual OLED in case of a drop or at, though.

It’s not really a new thing but it’s something that there’s seemingly no real reason for other than it looked good to whoever came up with it?

It’s ok, I found a solution to my problem soon afterwards and I think it’s safe to say that their solution is just some general troubleshooting stuff anyway. I wonder if the original poster even ‘verified’ the solution or if that’s just part of their paywall-scheme.
What surprises me is that this site has been doing this for long time, I always thought putting paywalls in front of everything was more of a web3.0 thing.

I had never heard of it before coming across this, this is the first time I’ve seen a paywall over what essentially is a forum post
