Yeah, ever since Nike bought the lot they’ve been a bit mad with the designs…

I always had Chucks, not because I didn’t wanna get teased mind you I just thought they were cool.
But man, they never really lasted that long. One to one and a half years of daily use, and they doubled in price in the last ~15 years (which maybe isn’t that much but I feel the quality went down a bit).

Good luck buying a new GPU nowadays… I’ve been dealing with overheating issues for the last couple of years, might need to change the thermal paste

With a Spigen Tough Armor case, right? Had one on my 6 Pro, too.
When you consider the 9 Pro’s screen to body ratio it’s pretty compact, especially for a flagship. Ten years ago a phone of its size would have maybe had a 5" screen.

I went from a Pixel 6 Pro (I believe the one on the right might be a Pixel 6 Pro as well) to a Pixel 9 Pro recently and it’s just about the perfect size for a phone IMO (6.3").

Did the quality really go down? I don’t go to McDonald’s very often but I think the quality has improved a lot from what I remember it being in the 2000s/2010s.
Granted, I’m in Germany; I can’t speak for any other country’s locations
- Comment on the amount of slop saying "wait till the end" is too damn high 6 months ago:
It’s the attention span shrinking as time goes by.
I have a brilliant idea actually; a video sharing site with a maximum video length of one second. “How much can you fit in a second? Find out for only $10/month”

Most of those rear-projection TV were 60 Hz, with the high-end ones often having 120 Hz.

- Comment on UPS has started charging for pickups even if you have a prepaid label 11 months ago:
Can I just say how shitty UPS is with pick ups? Every time I have to RMA something through Dell’s support they would schedule a delivery of the replacement part and a pick up of the defective one through UPS, right? Not once did UPS actually show up to pick up the parts.
Even when I manually schedule a pick up with them they just don’t show up; they sent an confirmation email saying that they did, but the part is still where I placed it for pick up. And when I email UPS to tell them they just repeat what the confirmation email said.

That’s the only complaint I have as well, the cords tend to rub a lot on any jackets I wear. It’s not really a big deal, though.

I splurged for a pair of SR325x recently and they’re awesome; just a great, balanced sound. Pretty easy to drive, too, even with my old iPod mini.

It’s actually quite easy on the Sonys, I was more than surprised.
- Comment on When you pair your Bluetooth earbuds and one hasn't charged 11 months ago:
I bought some Sony WF-1000XM3 a couple of years ago. They were new, although heavily discounted, but the battery life was awful; it the box it says that the buds themselves would last for 6 hours on a single charge, right? I got maybe 1.5 hours out of them.
Sony wouldn’t RMA them because I supposedly bought them at their outlet store (I didn’t). Eventually, I just replaced the batteries in both buds and now they last ~3 hours; I guess that’s due to the battery in the charging case also being weak.
Next time I’ll just buy one of those Fiio bluetooth DACs to use with my Grado’s…

Movies like to just put “The” before the title to signify the definiteness of that particular reboot. Too bad they often end up getting sequels…
