Sometimes I just give them a dead stare until they stop talking then carry on with what I was saying, or alternatively “excuse me [optional] Dave, I wasn’t finished.”
Other times it’s not worth the drama, or they might actually be reasonably more excited about what they have to say then listening, in which case fair enough.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard reliable reports of stoma gonorrhoea.

I think I last used it last winter, but looking at the play store it’s had an update since. Already looks like the startup is faster!

Yup! I wanted Slay the Spire, but the port is awful and this fills that void.

When you’re not trying to move the affected bone, it’s easy to forget about a break. With a cold you’re reminded with every breath, every swallow, and every time it makes you sneeze or throw a coughing fit.
Yep, not a fan!

I had a friend during nurse training who divorced at 50, thought she was never going to be in another relationship, then met someone with whom she was happier than she ever imagined.
It’s definitely possible.
People can get married to the right person in their 20s or 30s, change into different people, split up and find that someone else is now the right person.
You also get access to a much larger widow/widower market once you pass 50…

Nothing too surprising, but nice nonetheless. Cool

Legal doesn’t mean safe; it just means the lawmakers are too corrupt, stupid, cowardly, or weak to tighten the limit.

That’s a shit joke. Racial essentialism just ain’t funny, and the context is kinda irrelevant.
- Comment on What can I do daily to improve my on-the-spot cognitive abilities? 8 months ago:
Reflective practice. You need to actually carry out all the actions needed for a scenario, then afterwards go back over how it went and plan for improvement.
That’s how we do it in hospitals, except the scenarios are real.

The Bandcamp sale is hopefully good news. Songtradr looks like they’re just in the music business and don’t (front their Wikipedia page) have any obviously dodgy investors.
