- Comment on Why don't we have cool vending machines in the US? 5 weeks ago:
We do have lots of places like Sheetz that serve a similar function, but to be entirely automated is rare.
Automats might be a closer analog.
- Comment on Why don't we have cool vending machines in the US? 5 weeks ago:
Vending machines work better when there’s more foot traffic and more density. Vending machines with specialty good that need to be restocked every day require so much foot traffic that it’s not viable in a lot of places.

If costs go up because people need more money to earn a living wage, then we should 100% do it. Everyone deserves a living wage.
- Comment on Remember when 15% was the expected, not the minimum? 3 months ago:
If everyone stopped tipping servers would realize it’s their boss who is not paying them a livable wage in the first place. Stop subsidizing employers.

Teachers are paid a shitty salary Most teachers end up being shitty
Truly a mystery. If only we had some decent teachers so someone could figure this out.

The richest Americans lobbied the government aggressively to pay less taxes. They’re all skipping out on their fair share and foisting the burden on everyone with less than 100 million in the bank.

HR do the execs’ dirty work.
Shame you’re not intelligent enough to realize that. I guess that’s why you work in HR. Don’t be their scapegoat. It’s literally that simple.

You’re the kind of fool who thinks some of the nazis weren’t bad, they were just following orders.

HR are all class traitors. Their sole purpose in life is to pay you as little as possible and protect the people at the top who are stealing everyone elses’ profits. Fuck anyone working in HR.

We wouldn’t have retail theft if the 1% paid their taxes and shared the wealth they stole from everyone else.

I’m sorry that you never played the previous Halo games where they prioritized features over store items. There are tons of articles lamenting all the things left out of Halo Infinite e.g. screenrant.com/halo-infinite-launch-missing-featu…
- Comment on Naughty Dog Ends Development Of The Last Of Us Online 11 months ago:
Halo Infinite’s problem isn’t that there’s a store where you can buy cosmetic items. It’s that the game was built AROUND the store. Cosmetics took a priority over gameplay, features, etc.

Customer experience jobs are often sent off-shore or cut entirely. Executives see it as a cost-saving measure.
- Comment on Tax time 11 months ago:
Turbo Tax is the reason why the government doesn’t just give you a number to pay. The process could be easy, but the giant corporation Intuit and their political lobbying is why it sucks.

Corporate playbook:
When the company does well: Reward leadership by giving all the profits to the executives and shareholders.
When the company fails: Give the CEO a golden parachute and layoff the peasants.

Halo Infinite has always been a blatant cash grab. A game designed around a store. I have a hard time understanding why Halo fans play it rather than Halo MCC.

Best way of designing intimacy in games?
Give both intimacy options names like Angel and Skye. Give the player no indication which one is male or female.
