  I had a great experience with Turo. You just have to leave yourself some extra time to take pics of the car when you return it. No face scans.

  No reason to feel embarrassed here. I would be a little mad/annoyed, your dad seems like he can be a dick. It’s a nice gesture but he didn’t say it in a nice way. Sure, you could just not go, but I would recommend going. Even if it doesn’t work out it’s an opportunity to get more comfortable talking to a woman, which is something I’ve definitely struggled with. I’ll be watching for an update!

  Same assumption, I think. I don’t wear hats because I have an enormous head and they just don’t fit. As an adult I’ve only ever found 2 hats that fit.

  Well, I’ve known some people who felt similarly and thought they didn’t have much to offer or felt like a burden, but based on my observations that wasn’t true and they had self confidence issues. The lack of a car in a small town does seem like a problem though.

  Mostly good. Work is going fairly well but if things go as planned I’ll be going back to school part-time starting this month.

  I’m approaching my 3-year anniversary with my girlfriend but I ask myself if I want to marry her my answer is “quite possibly”, which scares me. If I’m going to marry someone I think the answer should be “yes”, “absolutely”, “fuck yeah”, or similar. She’s wonderful and I love her enough that breaking up would be very rough for me and absolutely devastating for her. The fact that she moved in with me would make things even harder.

  I’ve had my surface pro 3 since like… 2016? Still runs great. Never been very happy with the keyboard though.
