The newly classified creature didn’t mutate as soon as it hatched, it was a chicken inside the egg the whole time.
Is it the mom’s egg or the chicken’s egg I guess is the argument you are making. I call it the chicken’s egg. So the egg came first.

I guess it is hard to imagine abb internet cilantro laying that long mostly because the hasn’t been around that long, it’s only been 31 31 years since it went public. A year later Amazon was formed. I would bet money Amazon and Google easily make it to 50. Along with many many others.
- Comment on Helldivers 2 Players Express Frustration On Steam As It Will Soon Require A PSN Account 1 month ago:
Annoying maybe, but not on par with the $70 games with micro transactions that make the game pay to win when the games are just rehashed battle Royale games. It’s the same game OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Signing in to a PSN account might be annoying, but my God it is small potatoes with everything else going on these days and it is something beyond the DEVs control. I feel like that perspective is lost. This game is a diamond in a giant pile of turds. The devs have done everything in their control to keep it clean, but some things are beyond their control.
As far as the people in countries without PSN, if they don’t make it right (either by removing the requirement for them or refunding), then that is bullshit. But I don’t think Arrowhead is out to screw anyone.

Crazy, I couldn’t play with any of my PS friends until I linked. Hmmm I guess I am wrong, internet man says so 🤷♂️
- Comment on Helldivers 2 Players Express Frustration On Steam As It Will Soon Require A PSN Account 1 month ago:
Sony published the game. You already need a PSN account for cross play, but it wasn’t required, you just didn’tget crossplay. Niw you need it to play. A PSN account is free. I’ve had one for a decade+ and have never even owned a Playstation. Not that big of a deal in my opinion. You will just have to sign in. It is less invasive than a CDPR account for Cyberpunk and Witcher or ubisoft for farcry, or EA for all the others. PSN doesn’t even require an additional piece of software launcher like the rest. You literally sign in, in game, and never think about it again. Not that big of a deal.

I guess my initial comment, for me, was the perspective that it is common enough to have this many people openly talking about it in this thread very nonchalant, like that is the norm. There are a thousand reasons not to own a gun, that reason seemed a little specific, then others chimed in that were on the same page. It just surprised me. I am glad you are doing better and I hope you remember how temporary those feelings are if they ever come back.
- Comment on Not happening, dude 1 month ago:
I don’t know if it’s a people who already have issues and have guns are more likely to use the gun instead of other means kind of statistic you have there, but owning a gun does not want to make you want to kill yourself purely by existing. It is a problem that exists regardless of the gun. And people who just… don’t have a gun have a thousand different ways to accomplish the task. You aren’t like, a healthy individual then get a gun and suddenly have … urges.
- Comment on Not happening, dude 1 month ago:
Jesus, there is a non-zero number people, in this thread, that don’t get guns because they are afraid they might suicide? I hope you get the help you need, keeping a gun out of your house is a good thing but it is just the tip of an iceberg.

Firefox plus superagent. Superagent is an extention that automatically applies your cookie setting to those prompts and you don’t see them. I now reject all and haven’t seen a pop up since installing. I can’t vouch for its security though. I am pretty new to Firefox, but it seems to work.

It 10 years you will have thousands of dollars in makita tools because hey, that hammer drill you needed was only $110, better get another battery too, your old ones are getting tired. 🤷♂️ and you will always have makita tools, forever. Even if you hate them.
- Comment on The four houses dads belong to. 5 months ago:
It is whatever you buy a battery and charger for first. Then you are unwilling to forfeit that battery to just buy another tool. So you get another tool of the same brand, even if you aren’t happy with the previous. Then at that point, you’ve gone to far. You’ve got several hundred dollars in batteries you would have to give up just to switch. It is the most blatant example of the sunken cost fallacy.

Not irrelevant. Remember 2016? The options were even worse and we ended up with the cheeto. Since the DNC decided to stick with the senile sock puppet I would bet money we end up with Pence. And they will keep turning this country into a religious state. The DNC is fine with that too, because at least pence will play by the rules and keep everyone’s doners happy. That is the only reason they hated Trump so badly. Had nothing to do with his actions, it was that he said the quiet parts out loud.

- Comment on No one really understands our struggle 10 months ago:
I run a small senior living complex in a rural town. We have the cheapest rent in town. We scrape by, trying to make improvements here and there. They are maintained though. We seriously charge hundreds of dollars less than the next closest complex in the area. We refused to raise our rent in the past 4 years dispite rising taxes and utility bills. Most our tenants are widows/widowers living off a fixed income. We are either too nice or bad busseliness owners because that “fix my AC” One always stings and reaches into my personal budget. And by “personal budget” I mean I eat ramen for a couple weeks.
Anyway, I actually feel like this meme. Other than my tenants are usually happy. Occasionally we get someone who is just never happy no matter what you do. I know all the other complexes are owned by one company essentially creating a monopoly and they have exploited this town. We get calls from people crying because they will be homeless.
- Comment on Is America Really That Bad? 10 months ago:
America is a decent place if you put your blinders on and worry about yourself… and don’t get sick. In America, you get sick and you go bankrupt. Some places in the world you get sick and you die. 🤷♂️ People in the US are pissed off because the problems we have are obvious, easy to fix, and the people in charge make blatantly shitty decisions because they stand to profit off of them. Unchecked capitalism has corrupted every branch of the government. And since the leaders are the ones that have to regulate it and they profit off of it, they won’t change it. The elections are actually lies. And there are people that try to say we are an elite, premier example of democracy and the best country in the world. We are not that. The upper half of this country is broken and it’s squeezing the middle and lower class until we pop, for profit.
The decision making people in this country are selfish twats. They would be voted out but gerrymandering and electoral colleges (that they control) prevent the people from actually making the decision. Our elections are a farce.
But if you don’t pay attention to those things and you decide to just keep your head down, work, pay rent, consume like they want you too, it’s OK. Keep your head out of the news or you just get pissed off and ashamed.

I usually just articulate to them exactly the messed up the thing is that they are doing in a way that they have to aknowlage it. Then they have a choice, they can either say oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do that and fix it. 99% of people don’t like having to aknowlage they are an asshole. They would rather you think they are stupid, not an asshole. OR, they say suck my balls and do it anyway. At that point all options are on the table.
