Right, it’s Sisko’s “It’s easy to be an angel in paradise…” from season 1. That’s the main theme of the whole show - how do the Federation’s ideals hold up in significantly less than ideal conditions? What does it mean to be “the good guys” when all of the choices in front of you are varying degrees of bad?
People always mention the later season, understandably so, but it carries through the entire series. In some ways, it’s even more prominent in the early seasons when DS9 is portrayed as being pretty remote, Federation back up is far away, the main cast is own their own, and the e Cardassian fleet is always nearby.

I used two self-tapping sheet metal screws when we moved from a single-plate-on-the-back state to a double-plate state.
There’s no holder but…. That’s pretty much decorative anyway.

Morrowind is the height of the series for me and one of my favorite games of all time. But the level of detail and fidelity in Daggerfall is just staggering.

I love SNES Starfleet Academy. I played battles in the simulator mode over and over again so many times as a kid.

Cloudpunk - A cyberpunk driving/walking simulator with a good story, great voice acting, LEGO-inspired graphics, and a Blade Runner inspired soundtrack. It’s dripping with atmosphere and I wish I could play it again for the first time.

I bought that game and haven’t started it yet. But your description of it makes me want to do it now!

How is it that no one has mentioned the Star Trek Starfleet Command series???
Starfleet Command Orion Pirates is a fantastic game and one of my favorites of all time!

I really enjoyed Starfleet Academy on SNES. But my favorite games were the Star Trek: Starfleet Command games on PC, especially Starfleet Command Orion Pirates.

Any town with a wall around it in Oblivion is instanced.
Also, you have correctly recognized Morrowind’s superiority. I highly recommend the Tamriel Rebuilt mod that adds a lot of the land mass of the rest of the province outside of the island of Vvardenfell!

The perspective is interesting and enlightening. For me, TNG was MY Star Trek. The first episode aired when I was 5 years old and I watched every episode with my dad over the seven year run.
Part of me grew up on the Enterprise D!

Morrowind! It’s such an amazing game and such a break from reality. There is tremendous depth there, if you go and look for it, but you can also just dungeon dive and smack monsters in the face with a sword if you want.
Check out OpenMW for a great, easy to use, source port of the game engine.
