I’m using Eternity. I tried this but it didn’t show me any suggestions.

How do you tag communities on Lemmy? Is it the “!” ?
- Comment on Why are dwarf planets not considered planets but dwarf stars are considered stars? 2 weeks ago:
Well, for one, a dwarf star probably was a star to begin with, but ran out of fuel or something.
A dwarf planet, on the other hand, isn’t the same once you strip away the rocks that make it qualify.
I am almost certainly missing something given that this is based on stuff I read almost a decade or more ago.

Man, I was playing Control. My poor laptop was already at its limit rendering the damn game at Medium graphics. But added to that, I was streaming to my buddies.
There’s this one level where we are in one of those dreamlike places and I was supposed to jump to climb a slightly out of reach rock. My laptop, bless it’s soul, could barely chug along at 10-15 fps. I kept missing the rock and falling down into the abyss. After almost 30mins of this, I legit rage quit and played Papers Please 😭.
Turns out, my laptop’s vents were clogged by cat fur (thanks Lisa, my furry baby) and the thermal paste was worse than death valley 💀.
Finished the game a week later. Felt SO GOOD 🤌🏼.

While I haven’t played Halo, I feel you on being stuck on the same level for ages 😭

EXACTLY! How hard is it? If they could port The Last of Us and the last 2 Uncharted games, surely they can do the same for the first 3.
I doubt this is a Naughty Dog issue either, because they did release a TLOU PC port.

Ah man, I SO want to play Uncharted but they won’t port it over to PC. Only 4 and the spinoff is available. WHY SONY?!

He’s a really good YTer. His videos are amazing to watch and his two videos on Driver San Francisco are fantastic.

This seems intriguing now. I always love it when games prioritize the plot over gameplay…

How’s the overall survival experience? I love this sort of game but sometimes it gets very repetitive and boring…

Well, he’s ridiculing the fact that everything we have setup for governance is, in fact, made up. I don’t see why that’s pompous. I know his tweets tend to be a bit too pedantic for certain topics, but that is his persona. He is one of the few peopeople responsible for this generation finding science cool. He’s allowed that much.

I love it when games make the in-game weather kind of match the real world… Also, love this series of yours. Keep going. I’m here for it.

- Comment on I've noticed a lot of UK job applications use the American MM/DD/YYYY date format and some also say "resume" instead of CV. Does that annoy you if you're British? 2 months ago:
I’m not from either place.
I was under the impression that a CV and a resume are different things. A CV is a general compilation of all things you’ve done, and a resume is a curated list used for applying to jobs.
I do know that they’re used interchangeably for the most part, but this is how I was explained the difference in practice.
- Comment on Will Firefox die for good if Google is forced to sell off Chrome? 2 months ago:
Google pays Firefox to have Google Search as the default search engine. Chrome is not the major money maker. It doesn’t even earn any money.

When I get married, I’m thinking hyphenated, with her using her last name first, and vice versa. But last names can be pretty large. Idk how to tackle that.
