The same person that asked you to respond with this nonsense.

Millennial Americans will cook, if it is t too complicated.
GenZ Americans won’t cook unless it is putting something in the microwave.

I still believe their naming conventions has destroyed the brand.
Grandma that wants to buy a toy for their kids can go to the store and buy the next PlayStation. Xbox… which one do they buy? They don’t, they buy the easy option.

Video game developer here. It has been happening since the games industry started. Frequently, early games were made by contractors that were let go at the end of a project.
Many studios have done this for decades. Many developers actually like this as contract work pays differently than salary work and gives different freedoms.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a good answer for you.
I built a new Pc last year and decided to put win11 on it to judge the OS for myself. In all reality, it doesn’t feel much different than win10. Boot up is fast, startup is fast, everything just works.
Sorry I can’t provide more info.

Why would I acknowledge an issue that doesn’t exist for me?
You are barking up the wrong tree here bud. I use the right tool for the job, for me that means windows for my personal machine, Linux for work or special purpose machines.
- Comment on Adobe putting spam in notification tray on Windows 2 months ago:
Not sure what point you are trying to make here.
I’m not having any computer problems.

I wouldn’t know how that feels. Did it once and haven’t had an issue since.
I think some people here like to shit on windows just to shit on windows and haven’t actually used win11

Also not an issue when you disable this in windows.
- Comment on On social media we have these huge conversations where nobody involved has any actual experience. They're just repeating what other people said. Isn't that literally insane? 4 months ago:
When this happens on a topic with which you have expert level knowledge, it is so blindingly obvious and eye opening just how wrong every other conversation may be. It strongly suggests having a highly critical eye on any topic.

Suicide Squad.
I started last night after work and had to force myself to go to bed. The movement and combat in the game are a ton of fun and giving me Doom Eternal vibes. Dancing around the battlefield, using the right attack on the right npc, and just making things explode.
It’s damn fun.

Perfect glasses.
Glasses that are able to change based on if you are looking at something close or far away.
Able to see close up just fine, but far away is blurry? When loooking at something close, the lenses reform to no magnification.
Now, make that into a contact lens. Glasses and people with seeing disability are now a thing of the past!

I understand it is a YouTubers shop but it is still an ad.
- Comment on Youtube is allowing Youtubers to advertise their merch even for premium users 7 months ago:
An ad is an ad. If YouTube premium’s point is to remove ads then this should be included. Otherwise what’s the point? We should all just go back to using ad blockers.
We should not pay for content twice. Viewing ads is paying for content. Paying for premium is paying for content.

Good call. That’s exactly what I do. I haven’t applied to a job like this m, but it seems like a good enough way to estimate.
- Comment on Companies lower salaries in job postings as pay transparency laws take effect 8 months ago:
Unfortunately, this level of job regularly pays 200k plus or minus a bit. So I doubt it was a fat finger unless they meant 175-395.
- Comment on Companies lower salaries in job postings as pay transparency laws take effect 8 months ago:
Was looking at a job posting for a role in CA and the range was, I shit you not, 75k-395k.
- Comment on [deleted] 8 months ago:
This is exactly the right path to take, imo.
The only goal of playing a game should be to have fun and/or enjoy yourself. Any other goal can aid in that original goal but as soon as a goal (finish the game) becomes a chore, I quit and move to another game.
We need to remind ourselves (me included) that games are for entertainment and to waste time. That’s it.

- Comment on Why do many folks play follow the leader even into adulthood? 8 months ago:
You’re absolutely right. That’s a third point that I could have mentioned. Very good point.
- Comment on Why do many folks play follow the leader even into adulthood? 8 months ago:
Leadership is hard. Really hard. It is very easy to be a bad leader, hence the common perception of bad managers. Everyone can identify bad leadership, but ask someone what makes a good leader. It is hard to define and hard to do.
Leadership also requires taking responsibility for others. Many people do everything they can to avoid responsibility.
Put these two factors together and it becomes pretty obvious why most people shy away from leadership. It is hard and when something goes wrong it is your fault.

- Comment on Returning to the office is 'wildly more expensive' today than in 2019—here's how much people are spending 8 months ago:
I recently had a recruiter reach out offering a 3day in the office hybrid position. I said I’d be happy to chat assuming they meet my salary requirements.
Those requirements are 50% more pay. Simple.
I don’t mind going to the office when it is useful, but having a tues-thurs schedule means at least half the time I’ll be sitting there with headphones on trying to block out the world while trying to ignore random chatters.
- Comment on Are there any reputable independent gaming sites left? 8 months ago:
Since no one writes quality articles anymore, this seems to be the only way to actually get a good view of the game.
I don’t want to watch and listen to some dude rant about a game. I want to read about it. Barring that, pure gameplay is the best.
- Comment on Unity apologizes and updates their infamous Runtime Fee 9 months ago:
While they didn’t directly address the retroactive license changes, they did counter the argument. The following text being relevant.
The Runtime Fee policy will only apply beginning with the next LTS version of Unity shipping in 2024 and beyond. Your games that are currently shipped and the projects you are currently working on will not be included – unless you choose to upgrade them to this new version of Unity.
We will make sure that you can stay on the terms applicable for the version of Unity editor you are using – as long as you keep using that version.

Call me an old geezer, but I can’t stand videos for about 95% of all video game guides. They are either too slow or too fast, and include 10 mins of talking for “and the hot key you are looking for is H”.

This is the best D&D experience I’ve had in a video game.
This is the exact quote I’ve been using to explain this game to anyone that asks. So much truth!
- Comment on Baldur's Gate 3 Review Thread 10 months ago:
It works great day one. Multiplayer actually works and is easy to do. No shitty mobile game features. No shitty micro transactions. No shitty battle pass that keeps blinking in the corner reminding you that you haven’t bought it.
No predatory user hostile features.
See, every other video game company, it can still be done!
