Yea, but I would that the fast majority of the articles aren’t negative. I agree that there is a lot of negativity on Lemmy, but that’s something that a lot of people are more interested in. If you only want more positivity you should search communities that fit this, there are loads (more are ofcourse always welcome tho).

huh, weird, my 5 top communities are: tech, news, lemmy shitpost, science memes, world news.
- Comment on Don't you all get tired of the constant negativity? 3 weeks ago:
I think you are looking at your local community list.
- Comment on Don't you all get tired of the constant negativity? 3 weeks ago:
If you look at the most popular communities, 3/5 first ones are not politics.

Simple solution, start your own community with only positive news.

I’m not sure if jerboa has an option to create a community. But you could also just make one by logging into lemm.ee (the website).
But as mentioned by another commenter, it might be better to do this in another community. Lemmy isn’t big enough for very niche communities like this.

So, just to be clear, you don’t want an explanation, you are just here to troll?

I think it’s also just generally a good thing for them. I’m way more hesitant to buy stuff from humble and fanatical because I can’t return stuff, so I rather pay a bit more to get it through steam.

As far as I understand they had prepared a pretty big warchest, and gas is still worth a lot and is being sold to countries that didn’t commit to sanctions (like China and India).

I meant to speak as part of the admin team here on lemmy.world. If I didn’t make that clear, I apologize for that, I guess.
You are accusing me of things I didn’t do in my mind, did you really expect me to not defend myself? I am not angry or anything, just confused about this whole ordeal.

Do not engage in content manipulation such as posting spam content, vote manipulation through using several user accounts or consistently down-voting a user.
Rule 5 of our policy. More information here: legal.lemmy.world/fair-use/

Okay, so I read through some of the replies and I think I know what exchange you are referring to (not gonna doxx your ofcourse). I was honestly trying to ascertain if that mod had abused their power. You spammed the accusation through different communities, which is against the rules. I removed those comments, but I was still trying to work with you to investigate that particular mod.
- Comment on Looking for an actual left leaning Lemmy instance 5 months ago:
I am not, haha. I’m was appointed by Antik, I’m way to dumb to start my own instance.

Mmm? I don’t remember ever scolding someone. If you feel like I did that was probably me being Dutch. Could you specify what I said that made you angry?
- Comment on How to handle community mod abuse? 5 months ago:
No problem. For anyone else having this problem: feel free to message me privately, am happy to help.
- Comment on How to handle community mod abuse? 5 months ago:
You did the right thing by contacting us via info@lemmy.world. We, the admins and the community team, work hard to ensure bad faith mods get removed. Our processes to handle such cases will probably improve over time.

It could lead to a bigger conflict in the Middle East, which would be an even bigger humanitarian disaster.

No, they where commenting on the style of your comment, not your personality. I’m not upset for you being mean, I’m trying to warn you to not insult people in this community, as it is against rules.

I sure understand why you love reddit more than this place.
Insulting people is against the rules, go do that somewhere else. We will survive without you, I promise.
