So many hours on unreal tournament, might get some more now.

It’s a little more complicated than that unfortunately. Supporting bees is much more than just supporting honey bees.

I love the way the line breaks fit here. I read this like they drew around the bear to get the perfect shape.

I know women get the solid steel ones from Amazon, but I’m sorry that probably doesn’t help you. Good luck.

- Comment on Anon recommends a cast iron pan 1 month ago:
That is beautiful. I am now in the phase of convincing myself not to buy it even though it’s obviously only going to end one way…
- Comment on Anon recommends a cast iron pan 1 month ago:
I’ve stopped using cast iron after some experimentation. It has some uses, but none of which can’t be done equally well in a stainless steel or carbon steel pan.
I find these respond to temperature changes better and so are easier to control. My big iron pan also doesn’t heat evenly enough, so extra care is needed to cook things consistently if it spans a wide area of the pan.
I think the best place for iron cookware is for oven pots, not for hobs and frying.
- Comment on Campaigners tie baby slings to statues in call for better UK paternity leave 1 month ago:
I thought shared parental leave was a legal minimum? For the uninitiated, that’s where some or all the maternity leave can be given to the paternal parent, meaning there isn’t an inequality.
If they are campaigning for more for both parents, I’m not sure I am on the same page. I can see how this would make me unpopular though.

For some people perhaps. I sadly still go to an office occasionally and I’m astonished that there are people clearly unwell coughing and sneezing all over the place. Last time I went I came back with Covid and was out for nearly a week.

I’ve had ones so severe I thought my tendons were going to snap, waking me up in the middle of the night and I’m screaming and doing sympathy whines pleading for mercy. I have genuine fear of the bed time calf and/or foot cramp.

I get surveys at work asking me how much I believe the workplace aligns with company value x, y, z etc. Every question I just respond : I don’t have an opinion. I literally have no clue and do not care, I’m here to get paid.
- Comment on Liz Truss leaves stage in Beccles as 'lettuce' banner unfurls 2 months ago:
Tried to steamroll through new economic policy that was plain stupid, which the bank of England had to intervene on to stop peoples pensions going broke. This resulted in a huge spike in interest rates that thousands of people are still affected by today. There is much more to it, but thats the short story. Fuck this woman, she should be in prison not flogging books.

This seems too controversial? I’m not American, I just know what a lot you guys are like when it comes to guns.
Is there a reasonable majority of people who would vote for her with this campaign point?

- Comment on Two in five not saving enough in pension for even basic retirement 3 months ago:
I don’t expect to reach retirement age as it will keep increasing. If I do make it that far, I expect having to work so long to get there that I will be pretty much a husk of a human.
That isn’t to say I’m not paying into one, but I probably am in the ‘not adequately saving’ group because I want to enjoy the time I have now as best I can.
The future is terrifying and causes a lot of anxiety…

- Comment on BBC News - Stonehenge covered in powder paint by Just Stop Oil 4 months ago:
Pro Tip: Don’t be a cunt. Perhaps my wording was ambiguous, I am aware of the reason for the protest and the content of the article, my point is that the politicians have not commented on the reasons and deflected the topic to the protest itself.
- Comment on BBC News - Stonehenge covered in powder paint by Just Stop Oil 4 months ago:
Did any of them comment on the reason for the protest, or just the act itself? I don’t want to see things like stonehenge or priceless art getting fucked up, but I am OK with more things being fucked up if that is what it takes… I’m fully expecting environmental extremism to become a thing in the next few years, as the situation will get worse and these sort of protests haven’t achieved anything.
- Comment on Humanity making progress like it always does 5 months ago:
Stop cutting your lawns and dig a pond. It’s not going to stop industrial scale destruction, but it’s something actionable that you can do yourself and see the positive impact right at home. If enough homes do it, a network of gardens can become a macro system.
- Comment on Government tells Britons to stockpile as part of emergency planning 5 months ago:
It’s in bad taste when food bank usage is so high and the policy puts the responsibility onto people and the government is doing nothing. I agree with the general advice, but read the room.
