Panera bread basically did and a few people died, so that probably didn’t help.

People do train and compete with their dogs in scent work but they use essential oils. So there may be a market for scented toys but probably not for illegal stuff.
Also I’m not sure accidentally busting a drug trafficker is the key to a long healthy life lol.

We were talking about winning the lotto at work once and I said with a million dollars I would probably quit if I could earn 5% interest on it to get 50k a year. My boss was like, that’s not enough you have to think about daycare and mortgage and car payments and everything. I then reminded him that I was currently making 30k a year. He stopped talking very quickly lol.

Also shooting down a drone counts as shooting down an actual airplane, which is like, a super felony. So probably just don’t.

Huh? I just read this book and that was not in there. The kids just drank a potion and then could fly, there was no outward difference to them. Maybe you are mixing up a different one, like the chicken one? We just started that so idk how it goes. The cover has the girl as a chicken though.
- Comment on Related to the recent question: A family member has told me that my inheritance after they're gone is for becoming a live-with landlord. Is that ethical? 1 month ago:
They might if it’s in the will. That’s why OP was wondering about trusts and stuff, there may be a trust set up to only release funds when buying a duplex.
- Comment on When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords? 1 month ago:
Only do this if you have the means to pay that mortgage yourself, imo.
You and your sister are taking all of the risk here. Your friends could lose their job or simply just move after a short time and then you are on the hook to find more tenets. I suppose you could just sell it if they move but you may lose money.
You would be a great friend to do that for them so that you could essentially lock them into a fixed rent for many years, but understand that it is not without risk.

My Vanguard roth IRA is up 11% since 2020, and is up 30% just this last year. If you are investing into individual stocks yourself I would probably reconsider that strategy. Buying individual stocks is closer to gambling than investing.

Birds actually have scientific common names and it’s completely acceptable to refer to them with those names. They even have standardized bird abbreviations using those names, like Red-tailed Hawk is RTHA. They of course use the latin names too, and those have their own abbreviations (Buteo jamaicensis is BUTJAM) but the common names are handier.
- Comment on #notaseagull 2 months ago:
Annoy naturalists with these other animal names too: Jellyfish, crawfish, starfish, Killer Whale, Canadian Geese, and American Buffalo.

It’s wild. Someone asked my almost 4 year old where he got a monster truck from. We got it 8 months ago but he remembered exactly where. He remembered that someone broke his plane at daycare over a year ago randomly. But I ask him what he did at school and he says “nothing.”
- Comment on Do you have what it takes to become a geologist? 2 months ago:
I did Zoology, half my classes had us either identifying dead animals (whole / parts) or dissecting them. One of my tests was identifying the sex, age, and species of waterfowl just by their severed wings. I also did a summer plant class where all we did was walk trails and identify plants.

I had a pre interview from someone from HR once and it was excruciating. They didn’t know wtf I was talking about and I had to repeat myself many times over for very well known tools in my field. Now that I am the one looking over resumes I would never want HR to screen anyone, because they can’t possibly know what makes a good candidate for every single position or even how to read qualifications correctly.
