Poor Elon trying to tech-bro his way into social dominance by buying social media platform.
And to think that only ~6 years ago people saw him as a progressive visionary.
There is the lesson people. Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought of as an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt.

From the shit grows the flowers of the future.
Quoted by some deluded cunt who no-one remembers.
- Comment on Goals. 11 months ago:
Meh, most of the people who are remembered are cunts anyway. So why should I care about this?

The USA is not the world. Not having paid leave is almost exclusively a US problem in the western world.
- Comment on The Peasant Life 1 year ago:
OP isn’t posting in support of workers rights.
It is some thinly veiled attempt at suggesting workers are worse off today than when we were peasants. Which is complete horseshit and a typical trope of commies who want us to tear down our institutions.

Pandemic is not the same as a plague. Not by a long shot.

In all fairness… It looks like a dodge, so the owner of the pickup was probably drunk.

- Comment on Ban on walking more than six dogs to go ahead 1 year ago:
TL:DR
Law totally not made by Council Woman Karen who didn’t like the fact her shithead poodle who she lets run around the streets without a lead tried to attack a group of 7 dogs being walked together and had its dumb fluffy fucking arse handed to it.
Trust us we asked Karen’s friends and they all agreed more than 6 dogs on a lead is the problem.
- Comment on Are smart door locks more or less secure than traditional door locks? 1 year ago:
The largest tech companies can’t secure their shit properly.
No these smart locks are terrible. Their physical locks are usually bargain basement trash, their design is usually full of well known flaws and their code is full of well known exploits.

The site is now just an advertising vessel for a company called BuySellAds who now own digg.
- Comment on Every single rising post on Reddit is crypto spam 1 year ago:
In a few years Reddit will “rebrand” as a link aggregation site.
It’s the last stage of a social media platform’s demise.
- Comment on Return-to-office orders look like a way for elite, work-obsessed CEOs to grab power back from employees 1 year ago:
Hmm… The owners of the office buildings which are at record low occupancy are making up bullshit reasons why employees should return to the offices that they own.
Well colour me surprised.

Shut the fuck up you brain-dead tankie, troll farm employee.
The demonstration was about the lack of democratic reforms. Literally one of the alternative names given was the '89 Democracy Movement '.
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Yes they should if the admins feel that it may cause them legal troubles. That’s the WHOLE point.
Are you seriously so dense and entitled that you think others should carry the risk just so you can post whatever the fuck you want?
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Literally there are admins from multiple countries.
You don’t know what country the service is hosted in.
The admins made a decision, precisely because they felt this was a risk to them.
Don’t like it, then spin up your own instance, host whatever content you like and get a good lawyer.
As I pointed out in my original post. Everyone in this thread is a free speech absolutist, but let’s see how that conviction holds against a lawsuit.
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Omg these admins are attacking you basic human rights aren’t they? 🙄
I mean how dare they stop you from talking about an illegal activity even though it may cause them to be personally liable for the content you post.
Get real would ya!
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Wow. And I mean the whole world has the same laws as bumfuck Idaho, I mean Oakland. This is such an attack on your human rights by these admins right? 🙄
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Your input is intriguing but delusional.
Do you seriously expect the admins to keep track of all laws in all countries?
In fact let me simplify. Using your logic of the admins “defining” what is legal and what is not, all posts are now forbidden because they probably break some law in some country.
You do realise that the world is bigger and more complex than your local town right?
Rule 1 exists to help admins justify decisions like this in order to help protect them from law suits. THE END!
- Comment on Please fix Rule 1. 1 year ago:
Everyone is a big shit talker about “freedom of speech” right up to the point they get the cease and desist letter from some corporation or a visit from the police for facilitating illegal activities.
Rule 1 exists exactly for the purpose of it being a catch-all.
Go run your own instance and let’s see how stoic you are when the lawsuits start rolling in.

Anyone taking the Daily Mail as a serious news outlet is a lost cause anyway.
Their whole business model is to generate outrage through sensationalism.
We call it trolling and clickbait on the internet, apparently some media outlets call this a business strategy.

With all this open space it is perfect for a young community looking to create their own space and make it a familiar home.
The foundation has great potential for the budding DIY social media administrator to customise the layout.
And the neighbourhood is safe and progressive… No don’t ask about the other side of the street.
