I think you’re using the terms “religion” and “faith” interchangeably. And while faith is a key component in religion, religion is not a key component in faith.

Sorry, re-read what you wrote and it obv makes sense. Not sure how I missed it before, but yes, that makes perfect sense.

- Comment on Diablo® IV is coming to Steam 1 year ago:
I don’t know what the jobs and kids have to do with anything, but there is quite a bit of boredom involved with this one. I am still enjoying playing through the classes and messing with builds and aspects, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of endgame focus yet (nm dungeons get old quick) and the story is sooooo uninteresting. Which is a shame, cuz Lilith seems like a pretty cool character.
It’s still remarkably better than d3 was at release.

Solo, I agree. Co-op, is a far more enjoyable experience.

So far, it feels like this game is far less about leveling and much more about the Paragon board

You got a weird definition of cinema yo. Cinema isn’t some high falutin, transcendental experience. I don’t care if it’s Good Fellas or Beavis and Butthead. They’re just movies.

Not yet. I finished the game about 6 months ago and I’m in the middle of another game. I’ll probably give it a go though sometime in the near future

I read all about the bugs and problems upon release, but waited to play on the Ps5 and I had a blast. Thought it was a great game!

- Comment on How do you go about preserving fruits & vegetables? 1 year ago:
Moisture and temperature control is key to learning how to reduce food spoilage in perishable fruits and vegetables
I keep mine in my fridge, usually in bags, with paper towels inserted and changed regularly. Paper towels absorb the excess moisture which promotes decay

Good to know, but irrelevant to the point I was making. I wasn’t saying fuck preordering this game. But rather, fuck preordering as a practice.
All it does is incentivize developers to release incomplete games.

They might not be analyzing, but its not like restaurant’s qr codes are just plain generic qr codes. They are are all branded, so effort would have to be put into making them appear to be authentic. And I think it’s improbable that staff wouldn’t notice. And again, the roi for the bad actor seems incredibly poor.
- Comment on Shirley you cant be serious! 1 year ago:
I see your point, but that seems highly improbable. That a bad actor would be willing and able to successfully create a QR Code that looks enough like the restaurant’s QR and that neither the patrons nor the establishment itself would notice. Not only improbable, but the roi for the scammer seems very poor.

I don’t think you should “have to”. I think physical menus should always be available. But if both are available, I certainly think the digital is superior in every way
- Comment on Shirley you cant be serious! 1 year ago:
Yeah sorry, if I can view the menu from my phone instead of touching a menu that 6000 other people have touched, without having to deal with either the server taking it away or it being in the way on my table, I don’t see why I would want or need an actual physical menu

- Comment on Does an actor who plays an evil character become evil IRL? 1 year ago:
The fact that this is No Stupid Questions and you are getting downvoted for your question is absurd.
I think the easy answer is- no, of course not. Acting is just pretending. And not even pretending alone, pretending in front of hundreds of people, lights, cameras etc… so I would think it would be very easy to differentiate between the character you are acting like and your actual self.
Maybe a little more nuanced answer- it might depend on the actor and the method. Look at Heath Ledger. His legendary portrayal of the Joker didn’t “turn him a little evil”, but it certainly fucked with his head.
