  At one point in my job I was effectively the translator between English speaking Indian software devs, and American project managers. If I can translate technical information into something understandable to a PM, and vague program specs into actionable technical requirements for the devs I think we’d actually be alright with the aliens.

  Most people don’t even think about burning man at all.

  And well, the people of the internet tend to be less fond of more wealthy people, like those that can afford to spend thousands to party in the desert. I may not want them to die just because they went to burning man, but I will laugh at the world essentially raining on their parade.

  iPhones can natively do swipe to text and I love the feature. It also seems to have improved accuracy as a result of the iOS 17 keyboard updates. I always find myself mixing swipe to text and regular typing together. I hardly even think about it really.
