- Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons Officially Have A Pay-To-Press Button 3 days ago:
I’m sorry, have you seen the amount of absolute crap on the Nintendo eShop? What qualification process? It’s a wasteland there.
- Comment on More People Are Pre-ordering The $100 Edition Of GTA 6 1 week ago:
You know those are probably different groups, right?
- Comment on Capcom isn't worried about PlayStation and Nintendo shrinking the physical games market: "90% of our unit sales are digital" 1 week ago:
Microsoft tried that exact thing, to poor results.
- Comment on Sony doubles down. Only responds to their investors, not the consumers. I've never bought a digital console title. That will continue. 2 weeks ago:
Didn’t they stop manufacturing computers with CD/DVD drives a while ago? Perhaps that’s what they’re referring to.
- Comment on Indie Dev Says Game Refunded 55,000 Times Via Steam Loophole 1 month ago:
Cheaper than a movie!
- Comment on Do you know examples of mistranslations of in-game dialog from cutscenes via subtitles whilst playing in another language? 1 month ago:
IIRC, it’s mentioned in the manual that some NPCs lie to you. So if that’s true, it’s not so much a mistranslation as it is an NPC wasting your time.
- Comment on PlayStation sales just had its worst May in 25 years, and Xbox's was the worst ever—Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch 2 just became the second-fastest-selling console in US history; and other insights 1 month ago:
We don’t have to insult them by calling them simple. Some people just really love Nintendo stuff and have the money to buy it. It’s not like they actually make really shitty games that you can’t understand why anyone would like them. Their other practices are what call them into question.
- Comment on Day 705 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 1 month ago:
I’m still surprised people can get the second game to launch when they launch it through steam. I tried for hours to try and get it running, but the stupid external launcher wouldn’t cooperate, so I refunded it.
- Comment on Capcom says shifting from auteur-driven development to team-led development is what transformed the company and allowed flagship IPs to survive for so long - AUTOMATON WEST 2 months ago:
I think for this to move to make sense, you need to understand how much Kenji Inafune set Capcom back with his MegaMan decisions before his departure. I’m sure this was a big aspect of their different approach to game making.
- Comment on What’s your favorite video game that most people didn’t like ?? 2 months ago:
I suppose it may depend on what circles you’re talking about them in, because that series is one of the top recommendations for metroidvanias. They’ve sold over 15 million copies.
- Comment on What’s your favorite video game that most people didn’t like ?? 2 months ago:
It’d be nice if they put more into the world of FF8 like they keep shoving into FF7, truthfully.
- Comment on What is a game you can’t understand why its so popular ? 2 months ago:
Okay I think this is actually the best answer in here. I know of too many people that won’t play pixel games or PS1 era because “the graphics are bad”, which just sends me for a spin because I absolutely adore how they look.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
8 is definitely not a good first JRPG to start with, but I think it’s an interesting reversal of the regular mechanics/grind that you expect from the genre.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
I actually think FF8 and FF9 have aged wonderfully. Personally, it’s FF7 that hasn’t aged the best.
- Comment on Nintendo is raising the price of the Switch 2, blaming 'market conditions' 3 months ago:
A lot of product to Canada comes up through Amerocan trade routes.
- Comment on Nintendo is raising the price of the Switch 2, blaming 'market conditions' 3 months ago:
Perhaps people that were holding out on a Switch 2 will see this as their only opportunity to grab one, since it ain’t getting cheaper.
- Comment on Pragmata surpasses 1m copies sold in just two days 3 months ago:
The fanfare is interesting to me, because I played the demo and found the exact opposite from my experience! The mini games in the middle of it all was too many subsystems for me to find enjoyable. But that’s clearly the minority opinion based on the sales and reviews.
- Comment on Slay The Spire 2 Getting Review-Bombed Again After Latest Update 3 months ago:
In an early access game, no less. The game isn’t even done. This should be expected by the players.
- Comment on Pickmon to Pickmos 4 months ago:
Yea, I’m all for new additions to the genre, but can we stop giving lazy slop games articles and the time of day? This doesn’t require as much attention as it is getting.
- Comment on Google's Gemini will make its way into Dragon Quest X to power a "Chatty Slimey" AI companion, Square Enix has announced 4 months ago:
That wasn’t really an answer, my comment was trying to understand why people want that. Obviously there are personal preferences involved, I just wanted to hear from someone that wanted it ad to why.
- Comment on Google's Gemini will make its way into Dragon Quest X to power a "Chatty Slimey" AI companion, Square Enix has announced 4 months ago:
My question is why the heck do people keep mentioning NPCs with dynamic chatter? Why do people even want that or see that as a good thing?
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 4 months ago:
Yea, honestly I don’t know anyone that has bought or plans on buying a Switch 2, but I know a lot of people that bought or have Switch 1. Of course, that’s anecdotal, but shits just way too pricey. I and most that I know got into the Switch because of the affordability and on-the-go console play. Half of that equation is gone, and we already have the on-the-go console play with Switch 1.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 4 months ago:
We also have sales taxes in Canada, but that precentage depends on the province or territory. So you could expect the Canadian price to go as high as $710 CAD.
- Comment on Palworld dev isn’t impressed by "so-called" AAA, prefers indies since they "include the kind of systems you can’t find in other games" 8 months ago:
The whole reason behind it was to socialise with others in person and trade.
Now, though, the whole “multiple versions” is kinda pointless and just gates things, as you said.
- Comment on Day 465 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 9 months ago:
Yea, that’s one of the ones that is excluded. Usually just the smaller contained rooms.

I’ve replayed this game maybe 4 times, I love it! Hope you enjoy your time with it all the way through.

- Comment on Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game - Official Announcement Trailer 10 months ago:
Avatar Legends is the new name for the franchise overall. I suppose it’s to differentiate from Cameron’s Avatar.
- Comment on Hollow Knight Silksong (mod recommendations) 10 months ago:
I suppose my experience may be different than others, I’m at the tail end of Act 3 and I have yet to grind for rosaries or shards. I remember people saying I’d need to do that, and I never have.
- Comment on Xbox: "Price Increases Are Never Fun For Anybody" 10 months ago:
Why do we continue to give Nintendo excuses for their shitty anti-consumer practices?
If these are just because of US tariffs, why increase the price of Switch 1 consoles that are already in Canada and don’t need to be shipped through the US? Why increase digital games that aren’t being shipped at all? Not to mention, they opened the floodgates for the price increase in games.
- Comment on Shortly After Xbox Game Pass Prices Spiked, the Page to Cancel Game Pass Subscriptions Was Overwhelmed 10 months ago:
It’s a pretty low price already, and I personally think the devs deserve it. Hope you enjoy!
