- Comment on Playdate Season 2 drops in 2025, but firm release details, price, and games all still to be finalised 2 weeks ago:
Huh, I thought this would be about a new device. I guess Anbernic’s release schedule has spoiled me.

I do not envy any insect going into battle against ants. Do the ladybugs even stand a chance?
- Comment on I think Sims is a dead franchise now 1 month ago:
The fact that there aren’t many alternatives likely means that making a Sims-like game isn’t as simple as it looks. That being said, there are a bunch of life sims under developement right now (probably because EA is doing a terrible job) such as Paralives, Inzoi and Alterlife.

- Comment on Borderlands is no longer the biggest box office flop of the year 2 months ago:
Well, the Visigothic Kingdom lasted for 30 more years after 690, so I’m inclined to say yes.

Good. Let them cook.
- Comment on Avatar 3 is officially titled "Avatar: Fire and Ash" 3 months ago:
Why do you assume anyone was fooled? I went to see Avatar 2 because I liked the first one and I can already tell you I’ll be in line to watch the next one when it releases.

That year Daft Punk didn’t win the Oscar because Tron: Legacy’s soundtrack wasn’t even nominated.

The confusion was mostly on me as I mistook double boiling to mean boiling twice but thank you for the clarification anyway.
- Comment on Mushroom Guides 3 months ago:
Roots might be safe if you can double boil them??? Jesus christ, I guess I’m never touching wild mushrooms ever.

- Comment on GOG Summer Sale has arrived 5 months ago:
Interesting. I never finished the The Witness but I got some solid 10h of entertainment out of it before I stopped having fun. I’d say it is a brilliantly well designed game that’s well worth the price if you are into puzzles.

Is it too early to call Villeneuve the greatest Sci-fi movie director of all time?

There’s also AlterLife.
- Comment on What are you playing this week? June 10 2024 Edition 5 months ago:
Funny that you mentioned Coral Island, that game has been on my wishlist for a while now. Yeah, I can’t disagree, Moonstone Island often feels pretty chore-ish. It hits many of the same points as farming sims and creature collectors do so if I had played some of those recently I probably wouldn’t enjoy it very much. That being said, it is a very charming game and I’ve been having fun with it so I’d say to wait for a sale if you’re not too sure.

- Comment on Nintendo Issues Multiple DMCAs On The Modding Site 'GameBanana' 5 months ago:
Why, just because I decided to leave my honest opinion instead of trashing Nintendo like every other comment here? I can see where people are coming from with their complaints but to say Nintendo’s games have been disappointing is absurd. Yes, there are other factors contributing to these sales numbers, and none of them would matter at all if the Switch didn’t also have great games on it.
- Comment on Nintendo Issues Multiple DMCAs On The Modding Site 'GameBanana' 5 months ago:
I couldn’t disagree more. Other than Pokémon their first-party releases have been pretty much flawless this generation, it’s arguably the strongest lineup of games any Nintendo console has ever seen. There’s a reason the Switch is currently in route to become the best selling console of all time. That’s not an excuse to their legal team shenanigans, of course, but credit where credit is due.
- Comment on What are you playing this week? June 10 2024 Edition 5 months ago:
I’m playing Moonstone Island, which is basically Stardew Valley meets Pokémon. So far it seems pretty average in both fronts but it is a very chill game so I’m fine with that.
- Comment on Chef RPG is a foodie Stardew Valley where you brew your own drinks and try to keep the critics happy 5 months ago:
I’ve seen some of the devlogs on youtube and it seems pretty interesting. It’s a shame it has such a generic name though.
