I have an exceptionally large game collection that includes even current generation console games - so PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.
There are still games on those platforms that are fully playable from the physical media with no download required to ensure it’s playable to completion.
Switch 2 is unfortunately the biggest offender with key cards, but those are easily identifiable. Other consoles I just avoid specific publishers.
No Ubisoft, no Activision-Blizzard, no Bethesda, no Microsoft Game Studios and so on. It’s very possible to find completely on disk playable games, a good example of this is Pragmata and the latest Resident Evil for PS5.

I’m pro physical media, but real physical media, not not key cards, not code in a box, not requiring an always on connection, not full base game but DLC is a code.
I think all games should be able to work in perpetuity without any external validation or activation across it’s entire life.

FIY US minimum wage is $7.25 for non government contract employees and $2.13 for tipped workers.
Some States have higher minimums, but many do not.

The Dark Queen of Mortholme is brilliant but takes usually no more than half an hour to play through.
I bought it understanding it’s length, but the art of the experience was what I wanted. It’s just not objectively true that a game needs to be longer to be worth your money.

It’s too small, maybe about half an inch or less. There isn’t much else to explain. Stream often lands between the bowl and the seat and I don’t realize it until it’s too late

No matter what I try, this just happens sometimes, so sitting or standing are both awful

I saw the same video, and used the premise recently as an ice breaker, but it’s still very much a theory here as others are saying.

This one is just objectively false. The N64 has an exceptionally small, weak library. Weaker than the Sega Saturn, on par with the Atari Jaguar and 3DO tbh

I don’t agree with your premise, love languages are real, and some people, like me, what are called words of affirmation are very important and receiving them feels like receiving love, and when people don’t speak the same love language, an act significant to the giver may not be received and felt as significant by the receiver
