Yeah like when I think about things that I really HATE…
I’m not sure why I phrased it like that in the first place ( saving my energy to hate things that I need to hate ). Yes, reserving energy for things that really matter is what’s important.
Actual hate just isn’t worth the effort/energy
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 weeks ago:
Lmaooooo
Bro I’m sorry that hating people is your hobby in life. I don’t care about you enough to insult you or hate you. Have a nice rest of your life!!
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 weeks ago:
Idk man. I share the same sentiment as the person you responded to. It’s not necessarily about what the actors want.
It’s about cultivating and maintaining the energy required to “hate” someone you’ll never meet and who will most likely never know your name…
Like… What is even the point? How would that be useful in a person’s day to day life. Just my 2 cents
- Comment on The emotional support dunkies 2 weeks ago:
You hate a person you’ll never meet and who will likely never know your name??
Damn dude that kind of shit must take a lot of energy. Pop off tho
I’ve always been fascinated by people who hate celebrities. Again, the amount of energy it takes to actually HATE something. I reserve that kind of energy for well, things I need to hate lmao.
That being said I do remember the clip you’re talking about where he went off on a panel because somebody suggested Islam is oppressive to women. You’re spot on there
- Comment on Anyone? 2 weeks ago:
No need to apologize!!
I thrive on neurotic energy??
Well I’m always looking up things that were in so knowledge is power and all that

You gave me fairly panic with that nail lines constant and I just had to go look it up.
No, nails having lines going down them is not necessarily a sign of vitamin deficiency. Turns out that the majority of the time it’s completely harmless and a sign of aging. Both index fingers and my right middle finger have a very faint dark line going from cuticle tip.
Your mileage may vary, IDK about your personal diet etc. just wanted to chime in about the nails thing

Are you STILL stuck on this??
Buddy you gotta find something else to complete your life. This CANNOT be the only thing in life that brings you joy.
Like I said before, I guess you need to have fun somehow?? It’s just so sad you don’t know your life
- Comment on Anon blames millennials 3 weeks ago:
That guy said “many are”. Not most or majority or anything like that. I suppose it’s possible they edited their comment.
Sure man I’ll give up on the tone policing. You’re still an idiot going around calling other people idiots for no reason. Check your ego bro. That’s all I was saying
- Comment on bork BORK 3 weeks ago:
You’re screaming nonsense into the void?
- Comment on Anon blames millennials 3 weeks ago:
Dude chill the fuck out.
I’m not the guy you’re responding to, but seriously you’re the idiot here.
The average age of a manager is 45 that means there are several that are younger and several that are older. Some may indeed be millennials. Maybe not.
Get “logiced” idiot! But foreal just chill out. What did that other guy ever do you other than suggest some managers might be millennials?
- Comment on bork BORK 3 weeks ago:
Ok, so let me really understand.
You hang on my every word because it’s soooooooo important to you¿? Lmao Your “blatant trolling” is very very sad indeed. I guess you need to have fun somehow??

Are you really so stupid you don’t even remember where 3 days thing came from?
You mentioned it so I just repeated it. Really really great job with your basic math there bro

Bro I don’t login to lemmy every day. It took 3 days to live my life and eventually I got around to responding to you…
Unfortunately ( for somebody I guess ) petty conversations with strangers online isn’t much of a priority to me.

Bro That’s basically what they did
Please read the science article. First they fully sequenced the direwolf genome.
Then they specifically edited the genes for the Gre Wolf to exactly match the genome of the direwolf. The reason they didn’t specifically insert cloned DNA ( CRISPR like you mentioned) is due to certain problems I’m not educated enough in molecular biology to better explain.
I am not just hand waving away why they didn’t insert actual direwolf DNA or the cloned equivalent. I would assume it has to do with feasibility and perhaps avoids possible legal issues?.
Anyway the conversation we’re having now is useless. There’s only one test to see if a particular animal is a species or not. Can it interbreed and propagate?
For example a liger is a real animal but cannot create offspring. Same with a mule I think.
So I think they do have a female direwolf. They have introduced her to the parent but if they do and there’s successful reproduction…
I just don’t know what you mean by this is a designer breed… Can you be more specific?

I wouldn’t call a functional genomic equivalent a reskin.
But yeah I mean you’re totally on point with the not equivalent to de-extinction part.

Dude you’re completely totally wrong about Pandas.
Pandas only have fertility issues in captivity. Everything you described just now ONLY applies to pandas living in captivity
They do just fine in the wild. At least, they
The reason for their falling population numbers is their loss of habitat.
And if I remember correctly they have one cub every two years, overall low rate of reproduction but that has more reproductive strategy than anything else.
Suffice to say: pandas reproduce much more successfully in the wild than previously thought

Highly recommend the book, much more than the show.
No worries if you haven’t had a chance to read yet…
I read the book at least 10 years ago, want season one of the show when it came out.
It’s a good adaptation but man, it just doesn’t hit quite the same as the book.

Not wrong…
Just weird to expect that from someone you’ve never met before.

That is EXACTLY why I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t just use an NPM package that already has all that stuff sorted out. Could you imagine trying to code to deal with different time zones?
Forget about it.
