Very weird indeed. For me, i was able to log in here (or maybe Beehaw, I forgot) for the first time without receiving the verification email few months ago, but recently when I help someone solving issue like this on another instance, someone told me that this method isn’t work anymore
- Comment on Can't log in to Lemmy world, says email not verified 1 year ago:
You may need to ask admin for help to check if it is a typo in your email, or there is a bug in the email system.
Since you have already created another account you can use this account as your main account as your alternative solution.

- Comment on "Show Context" no longer seems to work 1 year ago:
Good to hear that. This can proves the bug only occurs when using lemmy-ui.
If you have GitHub account and if you want, you can send your findings to one of the issues as a sample for them to fix faster.
- Comment on "Show Context" no longer seems to work 1 year ago:
So it seems it’s issue from lemmy-ui (the default web UI that you mentioned).
You may need to wait until bug fix or possible solution appears.
However, just to be sure, can you try the other two frontend the listed above, to see if everything does work as you expected?
- Comment on "Show Context" no longer seems to work 1 year ago:
Did you try using other frondend, like
- a.lemmy.world, Alexandrite
- m.lemmy.world, Voyager, and
- old.lemmy.world
Then go to the comment you’re having trouble with to see if the problem still exists?
Someone opened an issue that might have simliar problem like yours:

Hope the devs hear your demand!
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
I guess you are using lemmy-ui, and want to scroll infinitely in the home page. Right?
If so, you may required to use another frontend or apps to do this. The official/default fronend, lemmy-ui, doesn’t support this in the home page.
Infinite scrolling works when scrolling comments in post.
You can find the open issue here: github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/878
- Comment on Can you block an entire instance? 1 year ago:
Afaik, you can’t block the entire instance yet, although some frontends or apps gives you ability to do that
There is an open request talking about it:
- Comment on How to unblock a user on Lemmy? 1 year ago:
No problem. Usually on the web version, lemmy-ui, it should display “unblock user” button if you blocked someone. Never tried on Jerboa.
If you want to open an issue, you can open one in Jerboa’s repository if you encountered on Jerboa app, or lemmy-ui’s repository for website version
- Comment on How to unblock a user on Lemmy? 1 year ago:
Go to settings, inside the “block” tab, click the “x” button on the left of of the blocked user name.
Try if this works
