- Comment on How likely is it that Trump will be the first President assassinated since Kennedy? 1 week ago:
A suicide mission might not be as much of an issue if someone’s entire life is in shambless due to economic collapse, no healthcare and God knows what else is cooking up over there in the US. I mean, you’re prolly very tight that the feds are on top of it, but human life can be pretty squishy, especially for a ca. 80 y.o. man. Someone could leave a carrot on the white house doorstep and he might trip and snap his neck, who knows.
But I’m more curious about the people who lose everything, are getting truly desperate, and have nothing left to fear.
- Comment on Maybe it's just a human thing. 1 week ago:
Yeah especially if such dogmatic beliefs make people think dumb or unethical stuff is somehow okay.

Oh, yeah I was looking it up, and I think it might be just the general CCD protocols in our institution which al involve neuroscience, and those specifically are not up for adoption ,(couldnt find if this actually was from an EU thing, but prolly depends on the type of animal and intervention).
And actually makes total sense. Some the relatively chil work in Wageningen with pets als falls under animal testing but it would feel wrong in those, mild cases.

Oh shit forreal? I used to work in the NL and there it wasn’t allowed. You couldn’t even had rodents as pets because the possible dangers of contamination. I thought it was an EU thing actually, but maybe it’s just NL

In the desert episode Aange did water bend a cloud into a bottle or something, right? I always thought that was water bending. There’s also this mist that they make in this White Lady episode, I thought that was also Katara?

- Comment on Seriously, what the f*** is keeping Donald Trump in this presidential race? 6 months ago:
I feel like a common trend is that if people generally showed more compassion for others, quite a bit would much better already. I mean for instance with vaccines, , not immediately vilifying people for not wanting the bacon, but trying to understand why. Also on the other side, antivaxxers trying to not just get pissed but trying to understand the other side. Not sure if I’m now thinking “understanding” or “compassion”, but i guess the later would be a first step to not just giving up on people, instead of getting pissed or writing them off like stupid.
But lol not gonna lie that’s hard.
- Comment on Neuroscience 7 months ago:
To be fair, the neuroscience terminology used is pretty surface level, one wikipedia stroll would have done it.
