Yeah. soon we’re going to have SNW and Prodigy? That’s not so bad, I guess. I’ll miss LD…

True. But did you see Diana Muldaur’s appearance in TOS? She’s a classic beauty 👀

DS9 did shrink a runabout in “Brave Little Ship” but it didn’t actually go inside a person. Does that count?

I wonder what Culber will think of bringing more people back from the dead other than himself.
Maybe using it to revive L’ak will exhaust the progenitor tech, so they can totally neatly wrap up this season’s McGuffin.

I’d say TOS was very very light on “personal drama”, which really ramped up from TNG onwards.

What a total miss. Picard needed a tea blend and they should have launched with Janeway’s coffee.

If they had ever somehow transitioned into a more episodic format, I think that would have been a lot of fun.

I’m puzzled as to what more story they would have told had they been renewed. Not saying the show was bad, rather asking where would they have gone from here? When you’ve upgraded to moving anywhere in the galaxy instantaneously, you’ve traveled into the far future, rebuilt the federation, and you’ve conversed with aliens living outside of the galaxy, there isn’t much “boldly going” left in the formula.
Kind of like when all the characters in an anime get too powerful (DBZ), and it gets boring because you can’t raise the stakes any further.

Maybe we should edit everything out except the speeches. Speeches are very Star Trek 🙂

g is a constant with units, so it can be expressed by different numbers. I think this works better with pie, 3.14, and 2.72. Unless the original quote uses “pig”…
- Comment on damn appendages 3 months ago:
These mantis shrimp has these two “clubs” for front arms. They use them to stun or bludgeon their pretty. They can move them so fast that they can create pockets of vacuum in the water that then rapidly collapse. I think it’s called cavitation. The collapsing bubble can even generate light.
Don’t make a mantis shrimp in an aquarium angry, those appendages are strong enough to break glass.

I don’t think people understand the impact of IMEI and SIM serial being compromised. I’m not sure I fully do, either. This feels like when a mechanic gives you too much technical information that you don’t know how to process.
