- Comment on Under-16s to be banned from buying high-caffeine energy drinks including Monster 1 week ago:
No there is a voluntary thing where shops can choose not to sell to under 16s. Many of the supermarkets do this.
- Comment on Kemi Badenoch: I’d go further than Farage and deport women and children 2 weeks ago:
I seriously dislike this woman
- Comment on Can LLMs Do Accounting? Evaluating LLMs on Real Long-Horizon Business Tasks 1 month ago:
I’m an accountant. I’m not convinced that AI is going to replace me. This did not change my mind one bit!
- Comment on [deleted] 1 month ago:
I’m almost 40 and can still hear those damn things.
- Comment on We face nationalisation if we’re not let off fines, Thames Water warns 1 month ago:
And…!
- Comment on Angela Rayner: I’ve taken all sorts — but we won’t legalise cannabis 2 months ago:
I don’t understand this thinking for not legalising it. It could raise a lot of taxes desperately needed and at the same time save money for the police. It’s already used medicinally so it’s clear they see a benefit to it.
- Comment on Labour is set to formally declare it believes trans women are men, says leaked NEC paper. 3 months ago:
FFS
- Comment on Quakers condemn police raid on Westminster Meeting House 5 months ago:
I’ve spent time with Quakers and they are the nicest, least violent people I’ve ever known. WTH police
- Comment on Is it expected to tip for furniture deliveries? 9 months ago:
I find this difference interesting, in the UK if someone has a home delivery it’s into your home, not left at the kerb.
- Comment on How do you officially pronounce a possessive like: " Travis' "? 10 months ago:
The UK. Style guides say to be guided by pronunciation, not just always bang 's on the end
- Comment on How do you officially pronounce a possessive like: " Travis' "? 10 months ago:
Unless you’re in other countries, not the usa
- Comment on I'm homeless after making and losing £1,000,000 and having a hit film 11 months ago:
I took him and his cat water during a very very hot summer, saw them on my way back to college during my lunch break, all before the fame too. He seemed ok at the time but that may be because I was giving him something he probably needed.
- Comment on Babe, wake up. Polls are open 1 year ago:

- Comment on How can I improve my handwriting? 1 year ago:
Honestly, slow down the writing and just keep practicing.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
What exactly is your question?
- Comment on Almost a third of household smart meters not working properly, says Citizens Advice 1 year ago:
I ditched the screen that came with mine about a month into having it. It was pretty rubbish and the information it gave rather useless.
- Comment on Gender-specific toilets to be required in non-residential buildings in England 1 year ago:
I find this funny because the government buildings I’ve been in all had gender specific toilets made universal instead. Apparently they can’t make their minds up
- Comment on England's schools crisis: Missing teachers, leaky roofs, and budgets crunched 1 year ago:
Officially it’s roofs. Rooves is the old ‘traditional’ but outdated spelling.
- Comment on Really? 1 year ago:
I’m confused, what’s infuriating? It looks like they’re showing you the back so you can see how it hangs.
- Comment on The Body Shop to shut nearly half of its UK stores 1 year ago:
I have rosacea and some of the only products I found I could use for ages came from TBS, but one was usually out of stock in store and I ended up finding something else. Added to that prices keep increasing and they’ve changed the recipe to some products. It all adds up to lower interest.
- Comment on HMRC has seen a 50% drop in investigations into wealthy tax evaders 1 year ago:
I’m not surprised. Anyone who has to interact with HMRC regularly knows they don’t have nearly enough staff and they are so behind it’s untrue. They likely don’t have the manpower to do investigations.
- Comment on Is there somewhere adults can speak to someone in times of crisis? 1 year ago:
There’s a website called 7 cups of tea which is what I think you might be thinking of www.7cups.com/community/
- Comment on People who order "a decaff coffee with an extra shot" - why? 1 year ago:
They usually charge for the extra shot
- Comment on No excuse for shoplifting because UK's benefits system is very generous, policing minister says 1 year ago:
I’ve had clients cry on the phone to me because their benefits wouldn’t be enough to live on. This minister knows nothing.
- Comment on The fashion industry is still pushing crazy thin body images 1 year ago:
The guy doesn’t look much better, just drowned in a suit

Looking at other photos though Prada seem to prefer models this skinny
- Comment on Disabled people must work from home to do ‘their duty’, says UK minister 1 year ago:
I sometimes wonder if our ministers have been replaced by soulless void creatures
- Comment on Nitrous oxide: Laughing gas possession becomes illegal 1 year ago:
This won’t stop people though, just criminalise them.
- Comment on How do I get informed on Joe Rogan without watching his videos. 1 year ago:
Thankyou for those that gave constructive answers and didn’t assume anything about my relationship
- Comment on How do I get informed on Joe Rogan without watching his videos. 1 year ago:
At what point have I dictated his viewing? I’m guessing you’re not in a relationship, because it’s clear you are actually the one with a lot to learn.
