- Comment on What do you think about the dead internet theory? 1 week ago:
It’s kind of a hard call to really call the internet entirely dead. It just feels dead and there are portions of where people once were, that is dead. If you’re looking for honest engagement in places where bots are, then you’ll believe the internet is dead.
- Comment on How come people are stupid nowadays? Especially on social media 1 week ago:
It’s okay to be stupid, at times, on a “I just don’t know” level. Nobody knows everything, not even experts.
It’s just not okay to pretend that you’re smart and know everything while demonstrating just how stupid you are. You’re only truly stupid also, when you don’t question, have a sense of awareness and aren’t curious to know more of something.
That’s exactly what online engagement has largely degraded into. People who think that because they’re louder, that they have more karma points, that they brown-nose to mods/admins make them smart and therefore not stupid. It just turns you into a stupid asshole who has a fragile ego.
- Comment on Trans or genderfluid, do you think? Even though only I’d know. 1 week ago:
How old are you?
If you’re still teens, you need more time to bake, by finding more of yourself and feeling out.
Secondly, genderfluid, no question.
- Comment on Do you think that the MK Ultra program actually shut down? 1 week ago:
Well, yeah, it’s not that much of a mystery. I think it was even admitted that it existed.
But what we don’t have, is all of the documentation related to the project. The CIA kinda did the Nazi thing, where, they don’t want specific shit to be known about what they’ve done to people, so they destroy what they can.
- Comment on Was Alex Jones right about anything? 2 weeks ago:
No he wasn’t. He’s a fucking shit-stirring asshole who believed for the longest time until the courts had to twist his arm about it, that actual children did die during a shooting massacre. He deserves to have his platform shut down and given to a satire company, he deserves to be drained of all of his financial resources.
And before anyone says “his voice is being silenced! what about his first amendment rights?!”. All that his voice and platform has done, is just damage and warp the minds of anyone who so much gave him honest attention. Just so that they too, could be walking mouthpieces for him. I mean that’s partially why we’re dealing with this war now over misinformation, it is partly because of this prick.
If there’s anyone whose voice I wouldn’t cry about being silenced forever, its this clown.
- Comment on What do you do if you lose an argument, but it turns out that you were actually right? 2 weeks ago:
No. I’m mostly a person who cares about saying anything at all, than wasting my time trying to convince people about my arguments. You take it or leave it. If I’m right, cool. If I’m wrong, then whatever. But, a lot of the time, people are fighting harder to win arguments than simply registering both facts and lies.
And it’s those kinds of arguments, I’ve no time for.
- Comment on Do you think that Edward Snowden is a hero? 2 weeks ago:
Anon is a fucking joke. In fact, that’s what they largely have become anymore. They’re only serving their self-interests. Sure, they’ve done a handful of things that would otherwise be seen as good, but majority of the time, they’ve proven to just outright be assholes who operate arbitrarily but likely sides with their own interests.
- Comment on Do you think that Edward Snowden is a hero? 2 weeks ago:
I always thought he was. I always knew too that he’s never going to get a fair trial and that he had to do what was necessary to avoid being extradited.
He did a huge favor for the american masses, who were obliviously unaware as to how much of an extent that they were being spied on and how their privacy was exploited. Anybody who still calls him a traitor to this day, besides the government anyways, are those who truly cannot grasp or refuse the reality this man unveiled to them.
I do see people and people like Luigi as true patriots. They have done things, that no American has the guts to pull off. The American populace, just largely takes the constant raping of their rights by their government and fear them. It should be the other way around.
- Comment on Ubisoft Co-Founder Claude Guillemot Dies In Plane Crash 2 weeks ago:
Oh, COME ON, people! Are we seriously going to get morally conflicted over someone who did shitty things? I’m sorry he’s not Donald Trump (then again, lets be honest, you would be one of those people shedding tears over him despite what he’s done to collectively fuck over everyone and everything.)
A shitty person was taken off the face of the earth, that’s a freaking win. If you’re this morally conflicted, then you’re the reason why these kinds of shitty people get away with what they get away with.
- Comment on What hot af take do you have that you think you will be HORRIBLY executed and shunned from society for? 2 weeks ago:
This is bait. I’m tired of these bait posts.
They’re bait posts because they’re preying on people to drop some really spicy unpopular opinion that nobody, even including the OP, will handle. It’ll create a scuffle, arguments and there will be calling for post removals and report wars will happen.
Also, it reeks of Reddit too, including to the last line.

Realize that AI will not actually do everything you think it would. Because it can’t. You still need to put effort in some things.

Sure, your question might be dunked on or joked with, but yeah, ask a person! /s

1.49 is honestly not a bad bargain either. But, this just highlights where sales have degraded to over the past five years.

Inflation, to me, is code word for “I’m going to be greedier”. So, I’m so sick of seeing that word ‘inflation’ being thrown around so much because it’s just excusing and justifying the greed.

Same old prices…bland.
- Comment on Why does most of the US blame Saudi Arabia for the 9/11 attacks? Al-Qaeda may have been trained there but that doesn't makes Saudi's responsible does it? 2 weeks ago:
Man this user asks some pretty dumb questions. You sir, are an example of there being such a thing as stupid questions.

Too much slow-mo crap. What’s with the cards? Don’t care. The art-style isn’t wow-ing me. And did they really have to set the tone badly with the cringe line someone else mentioned in the comments? Like as if that is some big revelation? Man I don’t even with this one.
Sounds like Konami is back to dragging feet, they’re being like Capcom when it comes to Mega Man, you know?
“Ugh…you guys just want another of more of the same? Pssh….FINE…but it might not always be like you remembered it as!”
And I’m sure the reviews that aren’t from suck-ups who don’t know how to critique, will eat this game up and justify Konami’s laziness.

Yeah I’m about exhausted from seeing or hearing of people complaining about there being no new games. What do these people do all day? Do they just keep refreshing the Steam splash page and expecting new games to spontaneously come out?
Every year, there’s lists of new games coming out. The problem is that these people haven’t looked and I’m tired of the stupid karma system where other equally devoid of curiosity in these people, support this argument. Just shows how lazy they really are.

I don’t want them to. Reddit refugees have already long trashed Lemmy and they’ve been working around trashing other parts of the fediverse, proving that Reddit doesn’t exist for any good purpose.
- Comment on Microsoft has considered spinning off Xbox, the Information reports 3 weeks ago:
This would be difficult because the identity of X-Box is hardwired to Microsoft since the beginning. It’d be hard to imagine who else would have the financial backing and the knowithall as to what to do when it comes to production and marketing.
Microsoft would have to pawn off XBox to Nintendo or Sony who have knowledge in the gaming industry, but I am hard pressed to see that happening.
