It’s just games, there’s no reason to treat this like it’s some sort of plot to mind control people. Most gamers just want to have fun and aren’t autistic when it comes to physical media or game ownership because it’s not that serious.
Let people have fun, let companies make bank, and just relax.
This constant performative outrage is what turned me away from the social aspect of gaming. The conversation has turned mostly political and away from the joy of the hobby.

This is stupid-
You never had ownership of the game, just the physical disc that contains it. First-sale doctrine is clear about this and the perpetual license, non-exclusive license that allows you to play it.
His law doesn’t change that. It’s not going to allow buyers of a game to have a stack in the IP rights.
This stupid argument of owning physical media has always been a misunderstood argument. Pirate, emulate, and decompile when game companies make enjoying a game miserable.
Trying to start legal fights, that have already been settled, or launching literal political campaigns, like stop killing games, isn’t targeting the core issue of buying a game being easier than pirating it.

401K’s were never meant for retirement. They were initially meant to provide tax perks for executive level employees for their profit sharing bonuses.
They were never meant to replace pensions or be used as a retirement vehicle.
Financial advisors and banks pushed them on regular employees because they fell out of favor with executives in favor or better options.
401Ks are not a good option for regular people. General investment in ETFs or a diversified dividend portfolio and t bonds is much better.

I’ve played Kuon. The story line and horror was great, but the combat was very clunky and I felt like the storyline was too vague, if you didn’t pay very close attention. I really didn’t notice the big plot twist until I played through a second time and paid VERY close attention to who was being dragged into the red chest, when, and by who, lol.

All the games are pretty good, but do get gimmicky after the 3rd one. The storylines, and story telling are pretty solid (!), each game builds on the camera based combat and uses, but the plots do get out there. The overall themes of abuse (mostly of women and children), loneliness, filial responsibility over self preservation (and the rejection of it), helplessness, and star-crossed relationships are pretty consistent. Depressing and fun.
