Playing through Dungeon Siege 3 for the second time. Played through 100% on Xbox 360, now it's time to do it on PC.

No, no, not saying it wasn't. I'm just saying they leaned on what they did with Bladerunner 2049. Not that it's a bad thing because I personally enjoy the new movies.
I did grow up with memories of the Lynch films though and every time I saw Kyle MacLachlan in anything it immediately would remind me of Dune. I only learned Alicia Witt was in it a couple of years ago which kind of blew my mind.

Mushroom Cats is another one. My daughter loves it. Good way to kill 15 minutes.

I think they were trying to go the Bladerunner route with this reboot. Y'know, feast for the eyes as well.

I caught a stream of TheSpiffingBrit playing it the other day and I downloaded it because of that. It's neat, but it does take some learning.
- Comment on A reminder that delivery apps are unnatural 1 year ago:
Well I can say it varies from company to company. Doordash is the worst. I consider it the McDonalds of delivery services as far as the way they treat employees. I left there making less than $10 an hour.
Grubhub has treated me the best so far. They pay mostly fairly even without tips. Had to wait 6 months to get accepted by them though.
My biggest gripe is being 1099.
I will say that when I was working for Doordash they sent out a very fucked up, threatening survey. It was around the time the government started looking at them more so they were asking questions like 'If the laws change, would you be willing to work a schedule and have a boss?". The whole survey was a bunch of loaded questions and bullshit in that nature.
I do love the work. Honestly. I just wish it wasn't so hard on my car. :(

The speed thing would be difficult for me as I'm into car culture so with that I'm far too used to MP/H.
Horsepower/torque numbers are also what the fuck. That might be a British thing though. What is the most common measurement for that outside the US?
The temp thing I still don't think I could ever change. Not like I would do it in a way that would affect people.
I already use celcius as much I can outside of temp. - Comment on The Many Times The US Tried To Go Metric 1 year ago:
I only have to worry about the change once a year as far as major things go. Which is what I was alluding to.
Comfort levels? I usually wear a hoodie with 1-2 layers down to 32, then my coat for everything below that with layers added the colder it gets.
I live in Michigan so the transition seasons are a crap-shoot on what you'll need to wear that day anyways so I have to keep clothes in my car either way temperature is measured.
- Comment on The Many Times The US Tried To Go Metric 1 year ago:
I just think of it like this. 0 is fucking cold, 100 is fucking hot. It's the easiest for me to describe comfort levels according to temperature.
72 is room temperature, so anything above, it's time to start taking clothes off. Anything below it's time to start putting more on.
32 is around about where water freezes so if it gets close to that, time to make sure pipes are wrapped and plants are inside. Only really have to worry about that one time a year though.
- Comment on The Many Times The US Tried To Go Metric 1 year ago:
It would be an easy switch for me outside of speed and temperature.
I think farenheight makes the most sense when it comes to describing a comfortable temperature. Baking and what-not, celsius makes more sense.
Speed, well, that'd take me a long time to get used to.
Measuring for home projects and the like wouldn't be difficult as I had already made that switch at my last job.

Of course, sure. Problem is, I'm in the Detroit Metro area so good luck prying the F150s out of people's hands around here. Second off, with the plans fuck cars has there'd be areas where I'd have to park and walk to deliver stuff. I already have one outdoor mall I deliver to and it fucking blows having to park and walk all that way because 99% of the time I'm marked as late because it takes so long to deliver shit there. I'm not a slow walker either.
So yes, less traffic would be nice. Will that ever happen in this particular city? Hell no.
