What kind of fucking dipshit employer would think that overheated, dehydrated workers world perform better by any measure?
How much does it cost you every time an employee passes out from heat exhaustion and work stops while they call an ambulance?
What’s the indirect cost of employees learning that they should never give more than 50% because they never know how long before they get a break or some water

No, there is no excuse for trash like him. But if you can weaponize the hatred of the ignorant to help your cause, you should.

- Comment on UC Doctors Seek to Unionize 10,000 Colleagues in Massive Campaign. They protested outside the Zuckerberg Hospital 2 weeks ago:
Good. Every healthcare worker should be in a union, and even entry level patient care jobs should pay at least 70k a year. In larger cities like nyc and San Francisco they should be making at least 100k, nursing should be the same only with an extra 40-70k a year added. A medical doctor shouldn’t make less than 500k a year, base. Not ‘well if you get enough RVUs you could make that much’
Then cap charges to patients/insurance for medicine, supplies and services. Suddenly the only fat left to trim is the c-suite and the multiple layers of upper middle management.
- Comment on The Vancouver Police 2 weeks ago:
You get people off drugs by building a society where people aren’t being oppressed and used as slaves. Not by putting them in jail and making their life worse.
Kids on the other hand aren’t fully mature and don’t realize that ‘just’ 30mph on a scooter can lead to a deadly crash pretty easily

- Comment on 'Starvation Wages' at Giant US Corporations Force Workers to Seek Taxpayer-Funded Aid 1 month ago:
That’s the same issue as people who want to be game developers. There’s so many gifted intelligent people that want to do it, that companies just treat them like shit, overwork them, pay them nothing, then fire nearly all of them right before or after the game launches.
I used to want to be a game programmer since I first played fallout on a Pentium 133. But I came to realize that it’s a shitty industry to be involved in
- Comment on Is it wrong to be against my own country any more? Kind of feel like I am the only one who wants to start a revolution to stop our DIC (douch in charge)? 1 month ago:
It would be wrong to not feel that way at this point. Just be patient. Prepare. Plot. If anything you can prepare for events like heat waves, food shortages, etc. stocking up on precursors is also a good plan, and passive.
- Comment on 'Starvation Wages' at Giant US Corporations Force Workers to Seek Taxpayer-Funded Aid 1 month ago:
Corporations seldomly produce wealth for people or a nation. In practice they’re merely a means of organizing the labor of many into a system that allows the benefits and money to be funneled to a small few.
And lack of any real competition gives them no reason to improve the lives of any one other than themselves.

- Comment on What does "Woke" mean to you? 1 month ago:
It’s a word people use to communicate that they hate anymore who shows any signs of intelligence, compassion and/or critical thinking skills.
Climate change? Yeah it may be over 98f for the 9th of the tenth last days in Wisconsin, and there’s literally visible/smelly smoke haze from the wildfires in Canada hundreds of miles north of us. But climate change is just woke libtard bullshit. If gas was $1 a gallon like in my childhood, everything else would be like how I remember, and there wouldn’t be any global warming.
It’s the same stupid half cocked logic for all of their propaganda

- Comment on what's the deal with Data centers and why do we all of a sudden need massive ones built all over everywhere? 1 month ago:
Funny how up until now they always talked about the dignity of work, and now that they think they can replace us, labor is drudgery.
- Comment on In a hearing on data centers, a resident of Tyrone Township, Michigan, asked a simple question: Have you signed a non-disclosure agreement? Officials refused to answer 1 month ago:
This is when a group of like minded, engaged citizens should band together with their own NDA. That way if the towns elected officials suddenly went missing, they wouldn’t be at liberty to discuss it. Although they would all have each other as an alibi, so it would help ensure police don’t waste a lot of time looking into obviously innocent people.
