You can bypass 90% of the game challenges by just running past it, it works alarmingly well.

No. If you’re doing 55 hrs with overtime you should be closer to 60.

- Comment on Wages never caught up with costs 1 week ago:
Housing price is largely post2020 thing, it was slowed by 2008 and took slow growth after that until it spiked. The biggest thing was remote work filled in the cracks and people bought the absolute dirt cheap houses so the min floor raised a lot nationally.
- Comment on Wages never caught up with costs 1 week ago:
Yes but there is a functional wage floor at market rate that has gone up continually, that doesn’t apply to every field though. But there are not that many jobs that don’t pay more than federal min unless they’re government set in some way at minimum.
- Comment on Wages never caught up with costs 1 week ago:
You can get much lower, but those are subsidized in state tuition rates for residents. That’s more 6-12k a year with the Pell grant covering community college completely if you’re low income. Same as housing, that’s completely address dependent, although it has gone up. But the lowest cost housing was more like 20k for a house in 90s. There are still houses for high 100s now.

Costco large bag of whole lighter roast beans with a good grinder gets a pretty good price and quality.

The issue I had was that there were too many and you had level progression issues with too much xp if you did most of the sidequests in a area and they didn’t update so it was dumb to do it later when you come back and you’re way overleveled.

- Comment on The price of soda in 2017 3 weeks ago:
20 was a fairly common size at Walmart and some grocery stores, it was usually cheaper and there was only a few types.
- Comment on The price of soda in 2017 3 weeks ago:
No it’s fairly common when you include coffee and water in food for people to get by with rarely having just drink a glass of pure water.
- Comment on Does the USA have gifted schools or was Spider-Man Homecoming lying? 3 weeks ago:
Stuff in NYC is frequently an outlier and only exists that way there and it doesn’t really mean anything. Most places it’s a different class not an entire school.

Correct, barbeque from the south, dessert from the Amish, Italian from New York and nearby Italian grandmother’s. If you get a burrito from some place that’s bad that doesn’t mean there isn’t top tier food there.
- Comment on onions 4 weeks ago:
There are multiple way and I disagree with some of the established methods. Slow can make them into much if you add to much liquid. You can get them cooked and caramelized faster on higher heat, you just have to pay attention and know what you’re doing. Really slow gets a result and it’s easier but I don’t favor it.
- Comment on onions 4 weeks ago:
Onions aren’t the same, they have a mild flavor that blends with most everything. Cooking it with stuff can make them mostly disappear and just add a mild savory note. Eating caramelized onion on top is a strong flavor but most of the time it’s melded in.
- Comment on onions 4 weeks ago:
Cooking them too slow can do that, it’s better to have less time and hotter. They stay slightly former and drier with more of a grilled texture. Adding liquids can make it act more boiled.
- Comment on This is what happens when Billionaires own the news media. 4 weeks ago:
It’s been a very clear hard right shift for Wapo, and it’s in the tone of the articles and what isn’t reported as well. It’s closer to Bloomberg in being pro business anti Left and protective of billionaires.

Open pit mining doesn’t require that much energy or labor, and they’re relatively safe for the same reason because being underground is much more dangerous.
- Comment on Cool Japan 🌸 1 month ago:
I know, but there is a real issue with small historical cities like with Venice where tourists can swamp a city that can’t really handle it.
- Comment on Cool Japan 🌸 1 month ago:
The only one that is relevant is Kyoto and New Orleans which both have cramped historical areas that can be an issue with too many tourists.

Green hydrogen only works when you have more energy than needed and you’re 100% renewable electricity. You could have done that with nuclear power in the 60s in theory. But solar in abundance is the only likely route it will work.

You don’t have to be good to be an actor, the quotes is pointless and stupid. If you’re an actor in a movie you’re an actor.
