Hey!
I’m new to piefed. I was a part of the Reddit migration originally. Since then, I really enjoyed the conversations.
I’m a behavior therapist by day. Otherwise a bit of an introvert/gamer. I’m always up for a conversation. Unless I’m asleep, which is earlier and earlier these days.

I forget the exact number but a surprising amount of fellas are also confident about winning a fist fight with a bear, so, yeah. This makes sense.
- Comment on DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM 2 days ago:
I haven’t really seen people hyping it.

I love the core genres for this reason.

38, was out last night by 11 (I tried). I don’t even drink anymore. I had a boba.
- Comment on What are therapists allow to share about their clients? 5 days ago:
Not anything identifying, really. My best practice is to never talk about work with those outside of the need to know group. It goes in the work box, it stays there. Unless I had a particularly traumatic day. I couldn’t hide the limp or the black eye I had a few days ago. So that is an example of the most I will share.
- Comment on How open are you about yourself to others online in general? 5 days ago:
I am fairly open, for a couple of reasons. I’m older now, and I have a lot of lived experience and education. Secondly, I learned a long time ago that silence can enable. I have nothing to lose by sharing my story in particular. So in certain communities I am open about difficult topics.

Good to hear then if it isn’t unwanted weight. Food replacement stuff can be fine but it can also be super sketchy.

Not getting the correct amount of protein from other sources and overeating carbohydrates. Watch saturated fat levels in protein alternatives as well.

I gained a lb and cried. I don’t know why I even care, no one cares what I look like lmao. Heroin-chic survivor still lives in me.

Oh absolutely, lol. Ten years and nothing has changed. Good news is the kiddo is understanding this is not how we should treat those we say we love, hence I doubt he will get too many more invites.
- Comment on True of mine but he more than made up for it 1 week ago:
Yeah my ex came over for 30 minutes to watch the unwrapping and took one bag of trash with him on the way out the door. I did absolutely everything else.

Nothing wrong with communities that want to stay on topic. It’s not a personal attack.
- Comment on Get fucking got! 2 weeks ago:
An entire day? 😭
- Comment on Get fucking got! 2 weeks ago:
Way too much work. Can’t I just lie down and die once my kids are completely independent? I’m so close.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 weeks ago:
Still in bed watching it snow. I’ll hydrate when I shamble into the kitchen.
- Comment on How would you decide? 3 weeks ago:
When I buy my acreage, I will have 2 weird donkeys and a cow. And plant some corn.
- Comment on Sooo... This is happening on Imgur 3 weeks ago:
Me too. I deleted a 10 year old account. I used to love that little corner of the net, even when it was small.
- Comment on Sooo... This is happening on Imgur 3 weeks ago:
Imgur did this same thing before not too long ago. People posted the gif for several days. I think some accounts were lost.
- Comment on If your username were a Scrabble word with no bonuses, what would it score? 3 weeks ago:
Pretty low value, honestly. But that’s okay.
- Comment on Do you ever feel like your life is "scripted"? Like everything is written by some entity controlling your life? Like you live in a fictional universe? Is this feeling normal/common? 3 weeks ago:
No, not really.
I mean.. I think there are variables that predict our life outcomes, at least the odds of them.
Things like where we are born, who are parents are, our environment all have roles in the experiences we will have throughout our entire lives.
Behavior is somewhat predictable once you study it as a science. So I guess it could seem rather scripted when you figure it like that.
- Comment on Shut up science!! 4 weeks ago:
I feel a little scared imagining that lol. I gotta have my bob ross everything is fine scritch scritch happy clouds.
- Comment on Shut up science!! 4 weeks ago:
Yeah this is me as well. I just overthink for hours without a distraction. Give me a phone or something to watch and I’m out in 15 minutes honestly. I feel bad because I know I’m probably degrading my sleep but…as least I’m sleeping.

Okay, that’s fair. How about when people ask you for food recipes after comment reply that’s in context? Are bots that good?

It’s like being called an NPC isn’t it

Uh well I’ve got a clam. But I think if I had bait and tackle?? I’d have many things to try. Including working on my flexibility.

I mean…yes. This is one of the things I imagine I would try if I ever had the equipment.
