- Comment on Is laying on your stomach every once in a while good for you? 7 hours ago:
I believe that feeling is decompression and depending on your body different positions will decompress the spine and thus feel good
It probably depends on your specific physiology and also what you’re doing all day
I highly doubt it’s bad for you to temporarily lay on your stomach. Like any posture you should shift position somewhat often just to relieve and shift around the compressive forces on various parts of your body.
For example, I know someone who sat cross legged for too long and it compressed a nerve in their ankle causing permanent nerve damage.

- Comment on How will the Military be after this mess with Trump? 1 day ago:
I have much more respect for the soldier that disobeys orders but that’s just me
Following illegal orders is not an excuse and has been rejected for centuries (except by Germans lol)
The [Court of Military Appeals] has held that “the justification for acts done pursuant to orders does not exist if the order was of such a nature that a man of ordinary sense and understanding would know it to be illegal”
- Comment on How will the Military be after this mess with Trump? 1 day ago:
Disrespecting veterans is one of Americas longest traditions. Veterans have lived in poverty for centuries because the government wants them to.
People who volunteer for the military typically do so because they’re in poverty and it’s their best option in life. The military specifically advertises in high poverty areas and also conduct social outreach and minor charity work to drive recruitment.
America needs poverty because it ensures there are always people willing to join the military and work for cheap.
- Comment on It turns out Saudi Arabia will own 93.4 percent of EA if the buyout goes through, which is effectively all of it 1 day ago:
People do not commonly have a choice here
In America there is near 0 public transit outside of a few major cities
- Comment on why 1 day ago:
usually if it ends in “a” it’s feminine versus “o” for masculine, but there are exceptions for that too!

Some people have no choice in what kind of car they can afford to drive.
We all have a very easy choice when it comes to choosing your video games

If you still buy EA games at this point you better not tell anyone because you’re a braindead fuckwit for sending Saudis your money

I’ve never heard of this effect being usually temporary.
If it doesn’t subside in a few weeks it often requires additional medication to solve and to my knowledge, for most people, lasts for as long as you take it

could also store it on a flashdrive or micro sd card
- Comment on Do you cheat in video games? 3 days ago:
Cheating instantly ruins every game for me
No point in playing anymore if I’m cheating. Can just do literally anything else in life instead

It’s fitting that he’s a subhuman slave to his own handlers
- Comment on Why do some Americans "feel ashamed" for being American even when it's not their fault? 4 days ago:
I believe the shame stems from the moral injury we all suffer when we peacefully stand by in a democracy and let bad people control the government and inflict serious harm on innocents
So in some respect it is in fact all of our faults because we do in fact sit by and watch people die so we can respect the democratic process.
- Comment on A cool feature/mechanic you want to see in games again 6 days ago:
Split screen coop/multiplayer
Way too many games only let you do multiplayer with one player and have online only coop campaigns
Used to be pretty standard that a guest could play with you online

- Comment on Settings you believe ANY game should have? (This is me advocating for a restart/reboot button on ALL games) 1 week ago:
I’ve seen a variety of half baked implementations. Sometimes you have a decent in game log but sometimes it’s also just the dialogue of your last conversation and nothing more 🥲
- Comment on Settings you believe ANY game should have? (This is me advocating for a restart/reboot button on ALL games) 1 week ago:
This is totally unrealistic but it would be sweet if there was a button for showing you a compilation of recent cutscenes or something for when you havnt played a story heavy game in a while and forgot what’s going on.
Like in the main menu give me a memory button or whatever that basically brings me up to speed to where I left off. Could be replaying cutscenes or showing me text of recent events, who knows 🤷♀️
But there are too many times i have to put a deep rpg down and then life gets in the way and picking it up again becomes impossible when it doesn’t feel like I’m there anymore
- Comment on Valve Addresses Steam Machine Anti-Cheat Concerns, Says It's Working Towards Support 1 week ago:
lol, they should be proud to champion what valve is doing for the Linux world
That being said I actually don’t have a desktop and would totally buy a steam machine if the price is right

Irrelevant to me personally but I’d like to see it cause more windows users to jump ship
- Comment on Forever young 1 week ago:
I can basically play like I was younger but I can’t stay hyper focused for as long 🤷♀️
You can also see a lot of multiplayer ranking systems basically make sure only the turbo grinders make real progress past a point
You might be just as good but they make sure it takes hundreds+ hours per season to get to the top.

Almost same, I use Linux on my laptop for regular stuff and just have a console.
Now suddenly valve has made steam and almost all gaming Linux native! I definitely want one lol

How is it barely usable outside gaming? Its a fully functional Linux desktop computer

People without gaming rigs that don’t wanna spend almost as much for a console

- Comment on Why does American media (and to an extent the American public) seem to only focus on one issue at a time? 1 week ago:
All of American media is owned by right wing men or right wing aligned mega corporations. They are here to entertain and perpetuate propaganda. That’s it.
They need to still keep up the appearances of being news organizations but they are all entertainment companies now.
- Comment on Why civilians don't crowdfund bribe money for politicians? 2 weeks ago:
In America if you break a driving law you typically get “points” on your license. Too many points and you lose it. Also more points = more expensive insurance costs per month.
Or you can just pay a few hundred dollars and not get points instead
- Comment on Why civilians don't crowdfund bribe money for politicians? 2 weeks ago:
In America business and government are not actually separate. This is important to understand because it’s a structural feature of the American economy. We are a true capitalist libertaria. The government is comprised of the companies and people in business
American business is America itself and the government is a co-leader whose purpose is to facilitate American business interests.
This isn’t corruption like in the movies where you pay off crooked cops (which doesn’t really happen here). This is what businesses and individuals competing for political power looks like in a true capitalist libertaria.
