What is making you stink discord isn’t also selling all its data to AI companies?

AI can’t even really write software right now. We’re nowhere close to AGI.
People will say that it can, but cant point to one piece of software that was truly written by AI and is also not a trivial, sloppy clone of something that already exists.

To each their own haha. The 2009 movie was the first ST movie I ever saw and I was not a fan.
FWIW, I mostly enjoy TOS, TNG and DS9. Not a star wars fan at all. To me the movie felt too much like star wars. It wasn’t dry enough and didn’t feel anything like a televised stage play lmao.
- Comment on Framework is teasing a ‘big’ update for August 26th — could it be Framework 16? 3 days ago:
Yeah I ran fedora for a while when I first got this since that’s one of the official distros but it seems like it would really just be a function of the kernel itself and the laptop firmware.
Going back to fedora does not enable
deep
sleep by default and I’m way too afraid to manually switch it again after having to pull the battery 5 times already in pursuit of a solution.I’ve been told this just doesn’t/can’t work.
So basically unless someone can say “I experienced the same exact problem and here’s how I fixed it” I’m just too afraid to try again haha.
Framework advises not to pull the battery and they are not wrong in that advisement. It’s sketchy as hell.
When I enable
deep
sleep it prevents me from even accessing bios, so I can’t do the firmware battery disconnect at that point. - Comment on Framework is teasing a ‘big’ update for August 26th — could it be Framework 16? 3 days ago:
AUR is super cool (when it’s not getting DDOSed).
Building packages from scratch isn’t that hard usually but it can be and AUR really does simplify that.

I haven’t seen every Star Trek movie but the ones I’ve seen have been pretty bad.
I’m here for the philosophy and the diplomacy, the movies always feel like they are made for a different audience.

You caught me (btw).
I’ve also ran fedora which is an officially support OS.

Using my framework laptop feels like a never ending struggle sometimes but I really like the idea of modular, repairable laptops so here I am.
- Comment on Why do i tip my bartender $2 per drink and per bar food order but 20% when I order food from a waitress? Am I tipping wrong? 3 days ago:
When servers say “just eat at home if you don’t want to tip 20%”, do they realize this is the exact same energy as “just get a real job if you can’t afford your bills”?

Hasn’t basically every star trek movie been kinda bad?

Pretty sure that’s incorrect.
The common type of floater, present in most people’s eyes, is due to these degenerative changes of the vitreous.

Wtf is this so though? I hate this trend or having to stop working every 2 seconds to prove you are working.

Doest really seem to handle the concept of overlaying the fence very well. It kinda just gave up on the main robot part.
