I’ve only encountered cans with those a few times, and I just used a can opener on them.

Need to add some Waymos to pick up customers from their parking spots and take them to the building entrance and back.
- Comment on Their entire strategy was to win was force a foul and take a penalty kick 1 week ago:
They were probably also trying to get to a penalty shootout because they would have a better chance without the suffocating defense of Spain.
- Comment on Just as Nolan intended 1 week ago:
Normally I would agree, but if this is a bedroom and they’re lying down, I think the angle works. I actually want to raise my living room TV a bit (it’s on an entertainment stand, not the wall) because when I fully recline my recliner to stretch my legs, I’m looking down too much to be comfortable.

And they have to worry about all the problems and expenses of owning a boat.
- Comment on Anon's jobs 2 weeks ago:
This is why I’ve stuck with my current job for so long. The pay is at the lower end of the salary bracket in my industry, and switching will definitely get me a significant pay bump. But I don’t want to risk getting into a lower quality work environment or having a bad boss (my current manager is awesome). My current pay is enough to live comfortably so I’m not at the point where I need to leave.
- Comment on LinkedIn is the ‘most AI-saturated platform,’ new study suggests 2 weeks ago:
That’s what happens when you have an enhance-with-AI button as part of your posting tool. Then pair that with a platform for circlejerking corporate people.

Healthy eating? More like health yeating.
- Comment on STOP MOVING TO DIFFERENT CHANNELS 4 weeks ago:
This is why I can never really get into active participation on discord. I usually join a server for its specific theme (i.e. the Dune server), so I’m on there just to talk about Dune. But there’s tons of channels in there too (i.e. memes, music, etc.), and each and every server I join has the same general channels. I can’t manage to keep track of the same kind of channel for 20+ servers, so I end up only participating in the main/general channel of every server I’m in.
- Comment on I am someone who works out daily and sweats a lot. Just doing laundry doesn't seem to adequately clean the underarms of my shirts. What are some ways to clean these areas of my clothing better? 4 weeks ago:
Is the issue the stains, or smell? If it’s the former, it’s likely your antiperspirant. Switching to non-aluminum deodorant avoids stains, but won’t prevent you from sweating. There are also “non-staining” antiperspirants, but I don’t know how effective they are.
If it’s lingering smells, probably try changing laundry detergents. You can maybe also try dabbing a little baking soda on the pits of your shirts before throwing them in the wash.
- Comment on What is the deal with Caitlan Clarke and pretty much the whole WNBA is against her? She drains 3 pointers like I never seen and they treat her like ruffing up a man. Shouldn't they congratulate her? 4 weeks ago:
NBA player get technicals for clapping too. Some refs get offended too quickly.
- Comment on why does crossing legs increase blood pressure? 4 weeks ago:
When you cross your ankles, grab and feel your upper thighs. You’ll feel that they aren’t exactly relaxed and are somewhat contracting. Now feel them again when you uncross your ankles.

Put them through Undercover Boss but no cameras and for 2 years (so they experience the annual review and no raise).

- Comment on How come people are stupid nowadays? Especially on social media 5 weeks ago:
Those people always were, it just got amplified because everyone has a soapbox to stand on with the internet and social media. There’s also another faction, the ones that are deliberately spreading misinformation and causing confusion.

- Comment on BlackVue's dashcams broadcast users' live location and footage to public 5 weeks ago:
BlackVue’s official app includes a world map showing the location of many of its dashcams, which users can tap to watch real-time footage. A red ring around a BlackVue logo on the map indicates that a dashcam is openly viewable to the public, while those without a red ring indicate a vehicle’s location without footage. These appear to be from users who have opted in to sharing their location, but not their live feed.
Anyone who downloads the app and makes an account can view these livestreams, even if they don’t have a BlackVue dashcam themselves. Free accounts are limited to 10 minutes of live viewing per day, though buying BlackVue’s paid Smart subscription unlocks unlimited time.
The fact that it’s an intentional feature and not some bug or vulnerability makes this even more crazy.

”After this we’re going to the bar, you want to come?” and getting told “Uh… I’m not quite old enough to drink” blows my mind every time I hear it.

Delusional fans who think their idols made it through sheer talent and work ethic. Sure, there are some who actually come from ordinary working-class families, but this particular group is far from it and one of the worst to use as an example.
- Comment on How is an SSH key useful ? 1 month ago:
It’s something you have instead of something that can be guessed. The window gets a bit smaller if someone has to actually be in possession of a file instead of just being able to guess or bruteforce a password.
- Comment on 2026 NBA Finals: Knicks vs Spurs – Game 5 1 month ago:
Congrats to the Knicks. Really showed their consistency and maturity. Spurs have a lot to look back on with how they had every opportunity to win it all but squandered it. But hey, they’re a young team, and barring injuries, they’ll have another shot for sure.
