- Comment on Why is the approach to nudity and sex in films and tv so vastly different between the US and Europe? 1 week ago:
Mostly overly religious people.
I’d imagine the Hays Code also had an effect on this.

Alpine Skyline and Nyakuza Metro were my favorite levels in A Hat in Time. The movement mechanics of the game are well-suited for exploring larger levels like them, and they made the journey to each objective fun

There is some non-linearity in the 2D games. In the first game, you can do some of the dungeons out of order. For example, some people like to save dungeon 6 for last because it’s difficult. Some dungeons do require items from previous dungeons, but not every one.
A Link to The Past also has some nonlinearity in the same way. The dungeons in the dark world are numbered, but you can still do some of them out of order for the same reason as the first game.

Magic world. That sounds more fun and interesting to me

I am from the USA, but it depends on your college and class. Sometimes, it was a purely digital purchase, sometimes, the book and the access code were bundled together, and sometimes, the book and the access code were separate. I’ve also seen colleges that have textbook rental at no extra cost
- Comment on Oblivion 2 months ago:
They’re just as expensive still, plus depending on your college, you may have to pay for online access codes for your homework on top of textbooks
Fortunately, pdfs of textbooks are usually pretty easy to find

It’s a fast-paced fps game where your goal is to speedrun through each level. The main mechanic is that you switch weapons by flipping fingers up and down to change hand gestures. The movement and shooting are very smooth, and the soundtrack is incredible.
They’re jrpgs that are very surreal and trippy. They both have amazing style and presentation, and the second game has one of my all-time favorite soundtracks

Howlongtobeat has each chapter at 3-5 hours for just the main story, which feels accurate to me. There are some secret bosses and alternate storylines that will also add a few hours to the playtime.
Chapter 5 is the next chapter out of 7 total, and iirc the next chapters are supposed to release quicker than 1-4. The wait from chapter 1 to 2 was 3 years, 2-3+4 was 4 years, and 3+4-5 was 1 year.
The first 2 chapters are free if you want to give them a try. I’ve been enjoying playing each chapter as they come out, but I can’t say for certain if you will, since you already don’t like games that are released in chapters, but hopefully this information was at least a bit helpful

Ah, fair enough

By no means, am I an expert on Mario Kart, but what’s stopping you from trying it? I agree with other commenters that there’s probably a reason why others aren’t doing it, but the stakes seem pretty low, and you won’t know for sure until you try it. Sometimes, doing something abnormal in a game works

This is a bit different, but Mari0 has this control scheme. It’s Super Mario Bros with a portal gun. There’s also a lot of custom levels
