Interesting. I have 5gbps fiber so I wonder if it’d be good. I’m just struggling to understand how it could be, lol. I don’t really game anymore though. Thanks for the reply!

I haven’t ever used game streaming, is it seriously that latency-free that it’s worth it? I just can’t imagine that.

- Comment on Can pets tell who's petting them without looking? 1 week ago:
I feel like my cat can because it rarely looks up and I just snuck up behind it. Either that or it sucks at survival (it doesn’t, it is jumpy beyond reason at almost everything else).
I assume it’s more than the petnique though, and includes step noise and scent.

…you literally just click the menu and choose the model you want? Or is my UI different than others?

- Comment on With how the republican party work in 10 years the presidential candidate will be an open pedophile and they will say they defeated wokeness. 2 weeks ago:
I’m hoping in 10 years it becomes socially shameful to be a Republican and that those who are get refused business everywhere and shamed into non-existence or suicide.
But, unfortunately, with the way things are going it is likely it’ll be the inverse.
- Comment on Anyone in tech confirm? 4 weeks ago:
Confirmed.
I’m halfway there having a farm but still required to have a tech job to sustain life.
Hoping to retire in 3-4 years though and after that I’m getting say in to growing my own food.
- Comment on We can play that game too 5 weeks ago:
Yes, but boomers are a chunk of the reason that the rich and powerful continue to be able to grasp and maintain power.
If boomers ceased to exist tomorrow and elections were held, I think there’d be a good swing left. Not a total swing, but substantial.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
My wife and I have no kids and live with family and we’re still dubious on retiring 😹😿
(granted part of this is due to losing all our money*2 during covid when some local businesses shuttered)

- Comment on Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the USA? 2 months ago:
Gotcha. Well, in that case, I think everyone should be cutting off more. I want to see the US economy get decimated.
(I realize I’m coming off super aggro, but I just don’t see how else everyone here is going to wake up)
- Comment on Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the USA? 2 months ago:
As a US citizen, I would expect the rest of the world not do anything - the fuck have we done for them? And even if things had been done at some point, why rock the boat now?
Let the US collapse, boycott our exports, ridicule Trump when he travels. Fuck this country, let it burn.

Yeah I get that, but I feel like there has to be a tipping point…? Right? 😬

Trying to get a company off the ground so it’s all hours all the time right now, fortunately/unfortunately.

Umm, I’m in my 40s and I do… 😬
Granted it isn’t like Cheers, I just need the change of scenery since I work from home 10-20 hours a day.

I tried them the other day. They were fine, but I wouldn’t order them again. They were seasoned well, but the flavor profile is not my style. Almost too smokey and woody.

Hmm, interesting. To be fair, I haven’t read it since HS and that was…decades ago. Based on what you said I might reread and reassess.

As a daily windows user for work…Win11 is a night and day difference to Win10 and while I didn’t love windows before, I absolutely loathe it now.
So, yes, I absolutely agree with you.

- Comment on How I View the US After 13 Years Living in Europe 3 months ago:
Grocery store consolidation towards major chains, capitalism, covid-driven price hikes that stayed, tariff-related price hikes, or price hikes that just use tariffs as an excuse have led to rocketing grocery prices here. It is hard to measure since I don’t track every item historically, but on the whole I’ve seen 200%-300% price increases on some items and probably a 150-200% general increase to my total grocery bill overall.
- Comment on Do you think The Boys is an accurate representation if real people had superpowers? 3 months ago:
If people had superpowers, vats of trauma and ego issues, and megacorps wanted to wrangle it for profit and control… absolutely yes.
This would totally happen in the US and other countries. 100%. No doubt.
- Comment on New EA Owners Hoping AI Will Cut Costs And Boost Profits, It's Claimed 3 months ago:
For me the beauty of some games is the knowledge of the writers involved in a story or the composers for the music.
If I know upfront it’s all AI generated I think that’d ruin it for me. But I realize that’s just my opinion.
