  Oh fuuuuuck the DRM. I purchased CIV5 for my phone and it requires an active internet connection or it boots you out. I only play on an airplane. So I ended up downloading the pirated version so I can play the game I purchased.

  I had an American friend who was hanging out with me in grade school. My mom asked if my friend wanted to stay for dinner in Taiwanese and he asked me if he should go home because he thought my mom was mad and yelling at me.

  When I was a kid, we would just go to the local library and rent out the books and make copies at my leisure. If they didn’t have the book, the request for it was pretty simple and fairly quick.

  I tried bleach, vinegar, a bunch of different enzymes. Just ended up giving up and buying a whole new dispenser and spout. Essentially was contaminated from the inside out.

  I bought an old classic soda dispenser and I can tell you that no matter how much you clean the root beer spout, you will always taste root beer if you switch out the drink to coke.

  Same goes for coke to sprite. You can taste the coke, it’s just not as bad as the root beer.

  So what helped me was not using the blue/red light to time your parry. Focus on the weapons tip.

  Also hold block and quickly releasing and repressing the block to engage the parry.

  We do have pigeons, but it’s not as pervasive as NYC. We have more sparrows and large cranes.

  We have these in Taiwan for different reasons. In Taipei, we have tons of foot traffic so these are designed to protect innocent bystanders.

  Also in Taiwan, we have these nets on almost every escalator. It’s not required by law to have these, but every business just have them to protect people falling down.

  I am also on hard. If you wear the gear that helps with perfect parry, I find that makes things a bit easier.

  SuckerPunch def took this franchise to the next level with Yotei. I sometimes stop and look at the surrounding views after doing a shrine.

  Killing bosses are so satisfying since the story is so good.

  Most of the game is relatively easy except that boss on Mount Yotei. The struggles with him.

  If you ever visit Taiwan, be sure to eat the local pineapples. We have one of the sweetest pineapple and we eat the core of the pineapple. The core is actually crunchy, like the constancy of a crispy pear.

  I work in a tech department for a super old company and we are give pretty much all the professional AI softwares and custom LLMs.

  My AI usage has gone up but not really for what you think. I use it mostly for thoughts consolidation and pagination. As someone with ADHD. My thoughts are scattered and often my reports and presentations are hard to comprehend. AI has been pretty helpful putting my thoughts into a format that is easier to consume for people not on the spectrum.

  I essentially dictate my thoughts in probably the most scattered brain way and the AI does a great job putting my thoughts into words and even presentations.

  In my previous jobs without AI, I struggled with putting my thoughts on paper. Now I literally a top performer at work.
