  To be fair, I am also a millennial, but most of my friends were surprised when I told them about that correction I received from the younger generation. I guess that says more about my friends than millennials overall lol

  I’ve heard from Gen Z that ending a text response with a period is passive aggressive. So “cool” may have seemed glib on its own, but the punctuation might be giving an additional, if unintentional, tone

  Some molecules have a rotation that is centered on a chirality carbon atom and is named by the way the other atoms of the molecule rotate. There are some rules to it, but L is levorotatory and means it rotates to the left or counter-clockwise. D is dextroroatory and spins to the right, or clockwise.

  That is something my mother said to me a lot. Along with, “I brought you into this world, and I can take you out of it”. It’s fucked up, because it’s not like anyone chooses to be born. These are not normal things for a parent to say by any means. It’s emotional abuse.

  You deserve better than that! It’s not easy cutting ties with family, but life is a lot easier when you’re not dealing with such a toxic, resentful human in your life.
