- Comment on what are in you're top 3 favourite games of all time? 4 hours ago:
In no particular order:
- Megaman X
- UNDERTALE
- Call of Duty 4 (campaign, never played MP)
I just really like those three games. They’re all fun in their own ways and in the case of Undertale it shaped a huge part of my 20’s because it was through playing it that I learned to love humanity even with its bumps and scrapes. It kept me from turning into a full on misanthrope.
Honorable mentions go to GTA Online (I have almost 6000 hours in that game total, it’s my favorite pastime), Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (multiplayer), and Titanfall 2.

Windows is always updating its Secure Boot protocols so it makes sense.

Secure Boot is literally one toggle in the BIOS what are you talking about 😭

Yeah I agree they’re both terrible in their own regards, but cheating has become such a profitable industry that I don’t see anything short of government regulations or extremely aggressive anti-cheat solving it.

Honestly this isn’t a problem, since it’s simply looking at the checks Secure Boot makes when starting. The issue is still the deep root access. Altho, both BF6 and Cod’s anti-cheat only run when the game is on, so it’s uhh, less bad than something like Riot Vanguard.
Still terrible, tho.

I’m Brazilian actually, but I don’t appreciate organizations from ANYWHERE in the world interfering with legal purchases.

Seems like while Australia doesn’t export that much bad stuff, the stuff that does get exported somehow manages to be even worse than other places, for some reason. Collective Shout is a group of TERFs, and Murdoch… well we don’t need to ttalk about him.

The biggest TERFs in the planet seem to be either Australian or British, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. Also, Murdoch has caused untold damage to America that is gonna take decades or even a century to fix.

Hope every gaming company out there is sweating buckets at this. This is a matter of customer rights.

Almost every old CoD game has this issue unfortunately. And too little people play them for Activision to bother fixing them.

Yep. And unlike most toothless consumer protection agencies in the US, Procon does not fuck around. They’ll even straight up force gaming companies to unban someone from a game if the person felt the ban was unfair, and force them to not only return their entire progress, but all of their items and pay them a sum for the damages.

Redditors thinking they’re the first line of defense against fascism is hilarious. The call is coming from inside the house.
Also, anyone who refers to themselves as “high IQ” is not worth listening to. In fact they might be even stupider than anyone who’s actually intelligent.

Because I got banned for “threatening violence” one too many times and every case was me making a joke about getting rid of fascists by any means necessary.

I have never seen a company treat their customers like absolute shit but still get rivers of money from people for it. Nintendo does make good games, but god, they need to chill out with their IP protection bullshit.
