oh for sure!! I just picked two close numbers to illustrate a point. the reason for the passing could be safety, etc. (ie: a poorly secured flatbed with harbor freight tools bouncing around.)
- Comment on Bruh, chill 17 hours ago:
right. if i am going 70, passing someone going 65, and someone zoops up trying to do 80 they can wait until I move back over.
- Comment on Bruh, chill 19 hours ago:
no see i meant the ass who expects me to speed to pass someone because they drive like they gotta poop and are holding a mug of hot soup at the same time.
stop. speeding. washing your blood off the road is keeping me from sleeping back at the station.
- Comment on Bruh, chill 19 hours ago:
sure in the same way it would to just stay home.
- Comment on Bruh, chill 1 day ago:
nobody forces someone to do anything. they CHOOSE to pass illegally in addition to speeding illegally.
i’ll eventually move over when it is safe.
and when you react during this period like a douche and roof your car from behaving like a child, guess who’s going to show up at your mva? this guy, dressed like the first responder I am. guess who’s going to remind you I have dashcam footage of your overreaction and behavior?

no.

this always makes me think about logic and math.
speed limit is 70. that INCLUDES the passing lane. if I am passing someone who’s going 65, at most I can go 70.
I am NOT camping in the passing lane. I’m just not willing to get pulled over and possibly shot. Guy behind me can deal with

they forget often that women, people of color, etc at one point were “dei” to someone, too. their family, on coming here, was “dei” to someone else already here.
the nation they want is one where genocide is ok, women are nonpersons, young women are brides, and people of color are slaves to be used for profit.

tip; sleep with your bedroom door closed. you’d be very surprised at how much time it can buy to get out alive. of course also CHANGE YOUR DETECTOR BATTERIES too. :)
source: am firefighter. it’s amazing how soot covered a hallway can be and tenable a bedroom can be with its door closed.

I’m a firefighter and I sleep like 20. Just get good. :)

well to be honest at 32 I didn’t figure I would marry again. Though I did years later. My wife now understands as much as one can and knows my wishes. (cremate. 50 in first plot 50 anywhere else. :) )

i rambled the other day about how I already have a headstone in the ground with my name on it; my first wife died when I was 32. Said it’s easy, I’ll just make sure I “go” right in front of it so nobody has to worry about cleanup. Was joking in a dark way, around my peer firefighters. Realized there were teens listening who were boggled I have a stone already. I’m fine.

i believed they’d hike for profit and pretend it was because of covid… yes.

i want them to prove it. just like with covid price hikes, and standard capitalism’s greed, I don’t believe them. at all.

Mine is vomit and sometimes, I guess related, the “coffee grounds” that can appear during CPR of someone having airway/gi troubles. We got rosc on the last guy so, it’s worth it!

The victims I have seen directly consumed by fire, I have seen while wearing my scba and have not really smelled them. I’m not on the crews that transport after.
However, when we go to an untimely death or otherwise serious call, there are certainly smells. Nothing having kids hasn’t also sort of exposed you to, though.
Then again, cats, old feces, and other unknown substances and smells from long-passed people does stick around.
You get used to it in an odd way.
