  I’m always for shitting on what doge did. It was pretty bad. In this particular case, the screwworm was making its way back towards the US before trump was back in office. Cutting funding almost certainly made it harder to prevent this, but it was probably coming anyway.

  I’m not vegetarian either, but bean quesadillas are always a good, cheap, and easy meal when I’m lazy. It can be as easy as open a can of black beans, drain and rinse, put on a big tortilla with cheese and some jarred salsa, cook both sides in a frying pan. If I’m feeling like doing a little more, I’ll add some diced tomato and jalapenos. You can be eating in as little as 10 minutes.

  The problem with using water as currency is that it is heavy. It is not reasonable to carry around large amounts. You’ll need some kind of representational currency.

  Some trees have phases that depend on fire. The long leaf pine has a grass phase where it just looks like grass for a few years and stores energy in its roots. When a fire comes through and burns the above ground part, it will grow 3-4 feet in a few months.

  You can pack them together fairly closely. Succulents don’t mind being a bit crowded. Water them when the soil is dry. Make sure there is good drainage in the soil and a hole in the bottom of the pot so the roots don’t rot out. Finally, don’t feel too bad if you kill a couple. It takes time to figure it out!
