I would like to have the choice, because of fuel concerns.

What country are you posting from where your sleeping area has mosquitos in it?
Cause I live in the part of Ontario that’s basically a rainforest right now, the mosquitos are so bad I can’t go outside, but inside there are zero. In part due to helpful spiders.

I want to be able to blow hot air at my ice cold windshield in the -20°C Canadian winters, but American car designers are all like “oh you want to use the windshield vent? you must want the AC turned on!”
- Comment on Life is hard 2 days ago:
American cars: “This obviously requires the AC.”

Is that why the brand name is “Soulless Kitchen”?
- Comment on lord give me strength 3 weeks ago:
I firmly believe you can judge a society by the annual sales of Uncrustables.

Purdue… are they the ones I keep hearing about in the news selling poison chicken and killing their workers? I’m Canadian so our chicken is slightly less poison.
- Comment on Is this sufficiently advanced technology? 5 weeks ago:
No, but the wifi chips do. Even radio engineers who designed them will tell you they just tamed the elves, they don’t really understand how radio engineering works.

I live in Canada, have all of those things, does not change job prospects whatsoever.

Could be worse. Could be living in China with even more capitalism.

This is like when women who have never had sex call on other women to join them in not having sex with men as some sort of protest.

I’m trying to save leftism from sabotage.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
So then why do you use Russian and Chinese propaganda phrases like “in the west”?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
Can you elaborate on how you think the working class people in countries like China, Vietnam, or Cuba own more of the production than in western European countries?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
At least I actually try to make the world for the working class a better place, instead of dream about a China that doesn’t actually exist on the internet.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
I’m not questioning your literacy capabilities,
"You criticise liberalism, and yet I’m too illiterate to understand you
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
So then countries like Canada, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, surely they’re even more socialist by your standards of the people owning the means of production?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
Cope harder, tankie.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
It’s not that I’m impatient, it’s that I can sum up everything you say in two words: “west bad”, and the way you dress it up only impresses other mindless academics who are only privileged enough to enjoy such a position thanks to their generational wealth.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
So you’re going to help us strive for a true democracy, with actual freedom, individual liberty, and equality, right?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
Questioning the reader’s literacy capabilities rather than attempting to actually refine their prose into something readable is the last refuge of the lettuce-spewer.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
Can you explain to me how a country with stock markets, banks, and billionaires qualifies as “socialist”?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
No, I’m not. I’m your worst nightmare - an independent thinker.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
It’s funny that you complain about liberalism so much when you sound exactly like the kind of fart-sniffing liberal who loves to spew out incomprehensible word salad without being able to actually precisely parse out what any single sentence means. You’re the left wing version of Jordan Peterson. Image
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
They said “in the west”. I want to know which non-Western countries exactly they’re referring to.
Because it sounds to me like they’re just on China/Russia propaganda-brain.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
Such as?
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
You’re using the word “liberalism” a lot, can you define it in one short sentence for me?
- Comment on What if God was one of us? 5 weeks ago:
I started singing that song to a super religious guy in my high school class and he got really pissed.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 weeks ago:
I know that liberalism is the monoculture in the West, but you must eventually learn that (1) liberalism is not the default mode of existence,
Which countries aren’t ‘liberal’ or some degree of brutal authoritarian dictatorship?

It’s so much better if you hide the votes entirely. Then suddenly I don’t feel bad about getting 50 replies that say I’m wrong, because who knows, maybe 500 non-repliers thought I was right? I don’t know, because I can’t see! Haha!
